For me the '86 win cannot be topped. We had so many terrible years leading up to it. Even the year before we were a pretty good team, but got crushed by the Bears and wind at Soldier Field (remember Landetta's backwards punt!!). The first time is always the best!!

I picked the 90 SB. It was the last Giants' trophy win, I was able to watch with my dad.

I picked the 90 SB. It was the last Giants' trophy win, I was able to watch with my dad. I made the very poor decision to watch with my brother and cousins--all die hard Bills fans. As the Giants were thought to be big underdogs, they wined and dined me all day leading up to the mentally exhausting game(haven't they all been?). Gourmet burgers cooked on the grill(I think my host cousin even put the condiments on for me, countless dips, veggies, chips, and side dishes placed in my lap. They must've thought "lets fatten him up before the slaughter". Once the game started and the Giants D befuddled their K gun offense a few times, Hoss held the ball firmly while being sacked by his wrist in the end zone(play of the game), and Anderson lumbered and threw forearm shivers--I knew it was a terrible mistake to accept this invitation. When the kick sailed wide right--you could hear a pin drop. I aborted my exultation of both fists in the air. I could see their faces and I certainly could remember that pain from many years prior to '86. My cousin grabbed the VHS tape out of the VCR and thrust it into my midsection as I made my way to the front door. I have watched each Giants SB since then either alone('00,'07) or with my wife('11). During both of those Pats SBs I think I paced and stood as much as I sat.

The 2011 SB almost gets forgotten by non Giants fans because it was just so similar to the 2007 game. Eerily similar in some ways. Giants had long time consuming drives in each game and only got FGs. Defense pressured Brady and mostly shut their O down. Both games came down to a final Giants TD drive and a huge "catch" to keep a drive alive. And both came down to a final NE drive where they had a chance to complete a long TD pass and almost came close to being completed... almost. The scores were even similar, 17-14 vs 21-17.
Always thought that was just weird. The teams were generally the same except some different players in key positions on each team. Same HC's on each team. That doesn't happen much in a SB.

Man I loved when Jacobs got past the LOS and someone tried to square him up.

I remember feeling very concerned that we didn’t come away with 7 after that first drive.

The worst part of this game was that it was Buck and Aikman. Even as the throw to Smith couldn’t have been more on the money on the INT it was still apparently Eli’s fault.

I wonder if they are adjusting the time for the guys that are in different time zones since it's not live? Man, A LOT of plays that may have been overlooked but definitely kept NYG in the game in first half.
