Isn't every thread pretty much this? Well I figure every thread is Simmons vs OTs, so if it's about "bold" predictions it can't turn into that lol. Two days out from draft night, then we will have plenty of things to talk about again .

Giants go OT in 1st, Center in 2nd and WR in 3rd...half the fanbase loses their collective you know what! Or, Giants take Justin Herbert and trade him to Pats for their LT, their first and 5th plus a pick next year. Don't we already have the Pats LT?

Herbert at 4. Trade Jones to Raiders for 19. Select Kenneth Murray. Take Isaiah Wilson with 2nd round pick.

Giants draft Eli Manning AGAIN at number 4. pisssssst, ...........never drafted him in the first place . Sure they did as the whole thing was rigged with the Chargers. Say what you want, Eli was REALLY the 4th pick, but the Chargers made the pick and trade so their QB Rivers would be the 4th pick and therefore cheaper. You had to be under a rock not to know this.

If the Giants go OL in the first, they will take a Deep Safety or Edge Rusher with their second round pick. If Baun and Epenesa are gone, I don't see an edge rusher. Way too early for any of those guys after Baun and Epenesa. Safety is a possibility, but I don't think any more of a possibility than C

If not, there's good value at S. As there will also be at C, WR. I just think we have to address the defense early.

We're dealing with the Pats for a bunch of picks this year and next. They HAVE to get a QB and we're right in front of Miami and SD...

I like Fromm a lot, especially if he goes to the Pats.
My bold prediction would be we deal Engram for a 2nd/3rd round pick and find his replacement later on in the draft.

How's this one - We pick Tua - After he slides down to the 2nd, as at that point he's the best player on our boards.

That's interesting; I'd never heard that. I had always read - even in Accorsi's book - that the Chargers and Giants did not have a deal in place at the time the Chargers picked Manning. And that supposedly the Giants liked both Rothlisberger and Manning and the Chargers liked Rivers more than Rothlisberger.

How are they going to get a 2nd or 3rd for a guy in a walking boot that another team can’t even bring in on an exam? That is bold.

Safety is a possibility, but I don't think any more of a possibility than C Some can argue that Center is actually a bigger need than OT Positional value suggests OT is by far bigger impact over center for any single team in the NFL...the most non athletic guys get pushed to the inside and centers in particular are rarely asked to be top pass blockers nor be on an Island blocking. If you are going by a body, yeah...we have two turnstiles on edge and no real starting center. I'd switch it to a body at center, and two non turnstiles on the tackle spots, as that would improve us far more than a Ruiz... with Solder and Cameron Fleming. Solder/Fleming, Hernandez, Ruiz, Zeitler, Wills has a nicer, more effective ring to it... The "franchise" after he finds out the Giants go Wills, Ruiz The "franchise" after hearing the Giants go Simmons, A.J. Epenesa The "franchise" after realizing he bought turkey bacon by mistake

Instead of drafting C Cesar Ruiz in the second round, DG looks in his TV Guide instead of his draft binder and selects Cesar Romero.

Boy wouldn't that be a kick to the throat for Miami. All weve heard for over a year is "Tanking for Tua" and they would do what they have to including trade up to get him Imagine if Bekechik somehow fogures a way to get him. Miami and their fans would be haunted by this for years to come if Tua turns into a good pro player

He jumps into the first round to the Pats. He would have been a top QB last year, and if that team had any WRs he would have been a much higher pick this year. He is smart, good throwing ability, and good size. IMO he is the best combo in this draft, even if he isn't the best at any one thing.

I'm thinking that since this is a pretty stacked draft for OL talent why not take Simmons if he's there and still get a damned good OT in round 2...

He's as big a noodle arm as they get...can't throw anything over 10 yards with spin. He's also immobile ...facts on this stuff IMHO, I'm guessing the Patriots would rather groom Love...I'm not sensing Fromm as more than a backup QB at best...smart, accurate underneath...but in today's NFL, not seeing it as he has no arm strength ...hell, Pennington could throw it more accurate on deep balls then Fromm

Giants draft Derrick Brown and remove the franchise tag from Williams.
