I was watching that game you posted and wasn’t wondering what was going on because I didn’t see Peart. I was thinking he didn’t miss any games for some reason. I know he had a wild amount of starts in college same as Thomas and Lemieux Oluwole was probably one of the best edge rusher options for UDFA.

They both had multiple big games. Big time catches to win games. Yes neither amounted tp anything with any nfl teams. And the game winning catches were against scrubs But at the time many of us said hey hey dominated the subs so many thought they should of got more of a chance to make team. Neither had any real chance to compete with 1s. But it was exciting at the time They got the same chance that anyone else did. They just weren’t good enough. How do these two non-NFL caliber players have anything whatsoever to do with the current team? Let it go man Relax.. Everyone gets excited each year about this or that UDFA. Many of us were about those 2 at the time. Probably even you lol. Was just making a point and i believe my original post was that this tall 6'7 kid they just signed probably has no chance just like Barden and Washington.

That tells a story in itself. Out of all the UDFA WR last year Reggie White was the best. With him. He better show he is more than PS fodder or he will be out of a job. There is a reason these guys go undrafted. Being fast and or tall are not indicators of talent. It takes much more than that. You have to go through hundreds to find a Victor Cruz or a James Harrison. i believe thats what i said. That they dominated against scrubs that probably ended up bagging groceries. And also said in original post that the 6'7 kid probably has no chance just like those previous 2 Its just fun each year and we all end up having a few favorites we pull for to make the team

I used to be. Seeing how that has panned out over the past 5 years . I am jaded on that whole concept. We have guys that have been on the field that never really earned a roaster spot. Never should have been near the team. These guys were on the 53 because that is what we could afford. If you can earn a spot with your play and ability. I have no problem with that. Being a body to fill in because we lack the financial depth to field a proper team is a recipe for a top 5 draft pick. We have 50 players on the roster right now that have either been drafted of have NFL experience. Unless one or two can prove they are worthy. 95% of camp fodder needs to take a walk at the end of the pre-season . If more than a few make the squad . It only proves we signed the wrong FA's or drafted wrong.

Watching tapes of all the LSU receivers makes me think: “ Why was Dillon a backup.” He had all the skills. There must be something else. Anybody??

If he was able to achieve what he did in Nigeria with little to no knowledge of American Football. This kid deserves at minimum as Practice squad spot .
