Laquon Treadwell - Devin Funchess - Demarcus Robinson - Travis Benjamin - Jarius Wright - Chris Hogan.................... Those are just a few of the FA WR’s
Anyone out there that can help our anemic WR stable that could be bang for the buck?

Honestly, I'd rather take my chances with the UDFA WR's we picked up than the ones that couldn't keep their jobs.

Honestly I don’t think just because you’re a free agent doesn’t mean you lost your job. Contracts expire - players change teams. Free agents are signed by teams every year that provide an upgrade. Honestly I don’t see any UDFA WR we’ve gotten signed that will make an impact. There are always diamonds in the rough but I think a guy like Robinson or Cobb have a better chance of helping us than the scrub list of UDFA we have.

Well....I guess we'll see how the Giants handle it. It's my bet that we'll go after a FA edge rusher before we go after a WR. UDFA WR's make NFL rosters every year.

Wasn't Funchess and Cobb signed?
The only guys I'm interested in is Taylor Gabriel (was able to get seperation when single covered ...)Tavon Austin (still knows the playbook).and Tedd Ginn Jr (Garrett needs deep threats...if he has gas left for one more year this guy)

He was stuck behind OBJ and Jarvis in the pecking order, still young, has some quicks.

The fact that we are probably the only team in the league having to go dumpster diving through this list after this historically deep WR class is sickening 😫

And because of the Covid-19 another issue How can we bring in any of these guys to give them a physical? Unfortunately we probably have to wait till some semblance of normalcy happens just for this.... I'm actually thinking right before training camp ...

Treadwell, Funchess and Cobb were signed by other teams during FA. Pretty sure Robinson was too Thanks for bringing me up to date - I googled free agent WR 2020 and i took names off of what appeared to be the most recent list - my bad. I thought with the WR situation grabbing a proven FA receiver might be an option to upgrade the situation. Seems I’m not getting much support for that option. Just reasons why we shouldn’t or we can’t. Maybe we strike gold or even silver with an UDFA WR. I hope so because if one of our top 3 WR gets injured we’re going to struggle. DJ should have a formidable OL to protect him a great running back to handoff to and limited top end targets to throw to.

I’m curious to hear what that blurb has to do with my post? Bustin on the UDFA WR’s ? - I’m not “ bustin” on em - I’m not impressed by any of them - yet.

I got to admit - that’s a pretty underwhelming list. Damaris Thomas in a 5 wideout set?

I got to admit - that’s a pretty underwhelming list. Damaris Thomas in a 5 wideout set? You know what? You think outside the box better than me. He has been around a while but having DJ throw to him would be a definite upgrade from who's been throwing the ball to him lately. He has obvious talent and played in 5 Pro Bowls. 32 years old is far from ancient. Becoming a Giant might be just what he needs. It would be nice to have a guy like that added to the WR stable. Unless there are underlying negative circumstances I'm not aware of it's not a bad idea - not a bad idea at all. Good job.

Not that it was difficult to do that.....

I got to admit - that’s a pretty underwhelming list. At this point bring in a guy or 2 that can just get seperation still Higgins and Gabriel can.... I know, more slot guys, but seems a lot of the bigger guys have slowed down to the point they can be covered by grandma

Not sure what kind of injuries he has sustained, but Chris Hogan would be intriguing if still available.

These WRs are unemployed for a reason. If they were going to be a factor in improving an existing WR group . They would have been snatched up before the draft.
