You know, you would think sooner or later Judge would knock off the football jargon and tough talk. But then you realize, he is a very serious man who lives and breathes football.
I enjoyed reading this.
“Thornton said, was really serious and told him to come to work and put the B.S. aside. According to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, Judge told Thomas that when Thomas spoke to the media, Judge didn’t want to hear any talk of Super Bowls.“
There comes a time where you either find your calling or you don’t. Judge is a football guy though and through, and I’m guessing is loving every second of it.

They obviously did their home work. Would like to know if thy pursued any of the either OTs as much or how much they did.
I mean from a layman's point a view it was a no brainer to chose Andrew Thomas above the others. I liked Wills too but he only played RT. Thomas did both and as actually better as a LT.
Thanks for posting. Good stuff.

Seems like this staff has a bias towards intelligent, humble, no-nonsense players. Unlike Reese who drafted pompous, damn fools.

Why is he telling McKinney not to talk about Superbowls "or any of that crap"?
Why would he talk about Superbowls?

Why is he telling McKinney not to talk about Superbowls "or any of that crap"? Why would he talk about Superbowls? Because it's what a lot of these guys talk about right off the bat without ever having played an NFL game -

It seems our new HC is not gonna have these kids blurting out nonsense. It looks to me like he's gonna be a tough SOB. As long as he has no "me" players it will work fine. Judge is an interesting guy so far. Lets see if it translates on the field.

Why is he telling McKinney not to talk about Superbowls "or any of that crap"? Why would he talk about Superbowls? I don't know if it's what he's referring to but it was the first thing out of Beckham's mouth when he was drafted. It just means don't be an idiot, get to work. Don't come to NY telling Giant fans about winning Superbowls.

Why is he telling McKinney not to talk about Superbowls "or any of that crap"? Why would he talk about Superbowls? Welcome to the new regime. Remember all those times Gronk would talk to the media and say "I'm not allowed to say that". Well that's us now.

Great pick!!!! It seems after the draft. now people wants to down play it. However, so-called experts really loved it because they usually give Giants a C, C-.

Outside of Young Thomas was my #1 prospect for us. This article only reinforces my thoughts. Sounds like a great kid. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the line gels.

Hmm, the article talks about the guy who trained with him. "That’s where he met former Jets, Cowboys, and Bengals offensive line coach Paul Alexander, who trained him for more than a year. With Alexander, Thomas went from a strong tackle, in the nation’s top college conference, to the lineman the Giants couldn’t wait to draft."
Haha, well, Voch Lombardi has a different take about his technique. Was Alexander the guy teaching him the slap technique?

Seriously, wtf did they say to each other? Deion: What are they getting? [My assumption is that there was typical lead up to that question that provides more context, such as "The ravens just drafted you, known for being a top end team with great fans and blah blah...] Lamar: Everything out of me. They're going to get a Super Bowl out of me. Believe that, believe that. Deion: Yea..

I always say it teams view this player differently then the media the network scouts they just have more access to them. Wills was my guy but really glad Thomas is here sure he will prove why Wills wasn't and he was. Judge had a relationship with Smart and Saban think we got the right guy.
