I'm not sure how many of you remember the rendering of the Giants new stadium before talks with the joint venture with the Jets began.
I liked the traditional styling of the original and loved the open stadium design which would have offered views of NYC. But of course we got this dump instead. Yes, that is an actual photo of the opening of MetLife to season ticket holders. On my first visit to the stadium, I couldn't help think the seating was too close to the corners of the field.
And let us not forget what we once had thanks to Wellington. And what became of it.

Wish I could have hopped the fence to the construction yard and taken parts of the old stadium like the guys did in Denver.

If only west side stadium was built the giants wouldn’t be sharing a it. I haven’t been to a game but I was at MetLife for wrestle mania 29. I have to say I wasn’t impressed

I feel about this shithole stadium the same way I feel about most players that end up on this team. It’s the evolution of not just one thing but everything. Shitty stadium, bloated costs and salaries, players attitudes or lack there of.... I’m sure many fans are saying the same things about their teams as well. But the thing is, for every one of us who hate, there seems to be two more who enjoy. I guess those of us who were once relevant have now become irrelevant.

Worst stadium in the NFL and possibly all sports

Worst stadium in the NFL and possibly all sports I think it is better then Dallas stadium. I could not find the escilaters in there while at giants stadium it's smack in front of your face and you just stay on until you get to the top. I would wind up just taking the stairs in Dallas. Also, that giant Jumbo tron is distracting as hell right in front of your face. It's like you have to look past the screen to look at the real game. If I wanted to watch a game on a screen u would just stay home. I don't understand why they did that. I like giants stadium screens much better with the 4 big screens on the sides. That way you can watch the game without anything in the way while looking at the screens for replays. Seats are about the same size. The only other stadium that I was in recently was falcons stadium, which is sick as hell. Overall I give giants stadium a 2/3. Probably middle of the pack based on experiences.

Can't change it and it is what it is. I have seen may games at the new stadium and I dont like the layout and how one needs to navigate around to get around inside. With that said its where the NYGs call home so I will go when I have the chance its as simple as that. To add the tailgate, for me, is always the best part of the day and that environment hasn't change much.

Sure, the escalators are easy to find. They're over in the corner, facing a wall. The ramp isn't any better. It's disaster waiting to happen if a emergency occurred. Why couldn't they make the spiral ramps again? Seats are too far from the field on the mezzinine and upper levels...the bathrooms.... Very poorly designed

Worst stadium in the NFL and possibly all sports Wrong Ill name 2 I have been to much worse. NFL - Superdome It was bad before Katrina. After, it was disgusting. Tunnels and bathrooms were too small. Things falling down all over. The fans were nice though. MLB - Tropicana Field in St Pete, home of the Rays. By far, the worst stadium in all of the land.

That photo of the obstructed view is a great example of how much Mara cares about the fans and not the money! I am sure that he waived the PSL for that seat and that he did not even charge for the ticket! But that's OK whoever buys that seat can always stream the game on a cell phone or tablet!

I do miss the spiral staircase. I can't complain about the distance though. I usually will sit in the very top row of one of the corners and I feel like I can see everything pretty fine. Maybe a goalline play in the opposite side of the field is a little tough. I have pretty good eyes though. Maybe I am just not sure what I well designed bathroom should be lol I don't really have any problems with it. Overall in terms of watching a football game in it I just can't really complain (except for this one time where they had a 10% alcohol beer and I noticed at least 5 different people puke in my section). Traffic getting out of the stadium is my only real gripe. A full hour + just to get out of the gate. Parking stratagy is based exclusively on making an easier getaway!

The idea of herding us past the cornerstones to try and sell shit truly pissed me off at first. And that is one of the things that bothered me most about the stadium. You simply cannot walk around the play on one level.

I have to say I wasn’t impressed I'm not impressed with the stadium either. It's nothing to write home about to me. Doesn't seem that much nicer of a place to drink a $12 beer.

Metlife is a joke though. The fact we have to share with the Jets is an embarrassing black eye. Would have loved if we had an entire stadium to ourselves, fully modern, retractable roof, fan friendly and we didn't F** share with the Jets..Have an awesome name to go with that too..
I would call it......Giants Stadium cool eh?

I was at the Falcons game when we played them on MNF a couple years back. That stadium is awesome.

I miss the old place wish it never got replaced at least not with what they came up with. The new one isn't fan friendly, Now I remember the model you showed I was excited for that, looked like it would have been loud seemed the seats were closer to the field.
