Wish I could have hopped the fence to the construction yard and taken parts of the old stadium like the guys did in Denver. They would make a fortune from auctioning off items throughout the stadium. Seats, lockers, sideline benches, etc.. I moved to Colorado right after they demolished Mile High and they auctioned the stuff from there but when they demo'd it people were hopping the fences to take bricks and anything else they could carry.

the fan with the beam directly in front of him has to be a bullshit pic. I have been in ML many times and never noticed seats like that Lol. Sorry GT. I took that picture, and that man is my wife!

I miss the old stadium. It was our home. Now we have a huge oversized tuna can. It has no feel, it’s extremely bland, and for the amount of money it cost I feel someone got gypped.
I would rather them play in a back yard over that over priced piece of ****

I am happy i don't attend these games, imagine buying a ticket to sit in front of a steel beam shjeeeesh, like I stated on the old forums when they were building Met Life Toilet Bowl, by not adding a roof you are losing money, with a roof you can host music concerts/events all year or another SB, idiots in charge messed up, even if the roof cost an extra billion you would have made that back in 25-30 years life expectancy of the stadium...

They did.
I have 2 seats, given as a gift. Not my specific 2 seats. I went on line to see if I could swap for my original seats. Didn't work...

Worst stadium in the NFL and possibly all sports I think it is better then Dallas stadium. I could not find the escilaters in there while at giants stadium it's smack in front of your face and you just stay on until you get to the top. I would wind up just taking the stairs in Dallas. Also, that giant Jumbo tron is distracting as hell right in front of your face. It's like you have to look past the screen to look at the real game. If I wanted to watch a game on a screen u would just stay home. I don't understand why they did that. I like giants stadium screens much better with the 4 big screens on the sides. That way you can watch the game without anything in the way while looking at the screens for replays. Seats are about the same size. The only other stadium that I was in recently was falcons stadium, which is sick as hell. Overall I give giants stadium a 2/3. Probably middle of the pack based on experiences. Which escalators do you take? I take the ones on the west side, and they are embarrassing. When you get to the top of the first flight, instead of the next flight beginning right there you have to walk all the way back, directly above where the first one started, then at the top of the 2nd flight you have to walk all the way back, again, to go up the 3rd It's a joke. In between the top and walking back to the next flight are, of course, many concession stands. I guess someone convinced them to se it up like that because you can sell them something in-between > Walking up to the 3rd level is a worse joke than the escalators. There are no direct stairs to the top... you have to walk all over the place to find the next stairs up. Under it all, the walk areas are a complete cluster f_ _ _ I have no pride in it.

MetLife (PSL Stadium) is nothing but a money grab.
From the layout, to the ridiculously priced concessions, to the overpriced parking. I have family in Atlanta. Gorgeous stadium and Arthur Blank made concessions affordable so the average family can enjoy the experience without selling little Tommy’s left kidney.
The fact that the Giants charge a PSL fee.....a large fee just for the right to buy tickets is as despicable an act as I can imagine. They stuck it to their most faithful fans. The fans that paid for and sat in those freezing seats thru years of ineptitude. Price gouging should be against the law.
Couple all of that with the fact that there’s foolishly no retractable roof and they share the stadium with the Jets and Rutgers (I think).
Just inexcusable. The Tri-state area deserves much better.

I wonder how the price of admission has changed in ATL since the inception of fairly priced concessions. Personally, I don't mind sharing with the Jets, but since we're splitting a stadium, charging fans a PSL is bullshit ESPECIALLY when the two franchises are worth $7B.

Yeah, I remember when the PSL licenses came out, it was ridiculous. I get it is a means of financing the stadium so teams are not using tax dollars to build, but it's not right to make someone buy the right to buy something. It's like a deposit that provides no security. And them not having a retractable roof was also dumb. Could have has much more use out of the stadium.

It's like a 20 foot walk lol. You need to let the people on floor one or two off somehow. The amount of Verizon booths are weird. I mean who is changing their phone plan in the middle of a game? Just ignore it and keep moving who cares?

I forget exactly but I think it was $150-200 for a second level seat. I only go to the top of the nosebleeds at Metlife but I feel like they sounds about normal. Psls are rediculous. Especially since if you don't buy the season tickets you forfeit the seats.

Just ignore it and keep moving who cares? lol... let's not split hairs... I think it's about 50'. Next one there can pace it off and we'll see who's closest. Anyways I been to a zillion escalators where at the top discharge from the 1st, you can walk right off, and if you want to go to the next level the start of that is just 2-3 feet on your left or right and that ones goes up to the next floor in the opposite direction. All our escalators are parallel and they didn't need to be. No biggy… I just thought it was strange. I do like my seats. They are 3rd level... when you get to the 3rd level there are (4) rows of seats that actually hang down from the front of the 3rd level. They're at a nice height, and close enough to the field, that you have a nice view of everything on the field.... about the 25 yd. line on the east side of the stadium. We're 4th row, so we have a concrete wall at our back. My son is 400# and can't fit well in his seat, between the armrests, lol.... but, he can stand at his seat with his back against the concrete wall behind him, and he's totally comfortable.. I do like the screens, etc. It the inside guts that stink.

I'm not sure how many of you remember the rendering of the Giants new stadium before talks with the joint venture with the Jets began.
I liked the traditional styling of the original and loved the open stadium design which would have offered views of NYC. But of course we got this dump instead. Yes, that is an actual photo of the opening of MetLife to season ticket holders. On my first visit to the stadium, I couldn't help think the seating was too close to the corners of the field.
And let us not forget what we once had thanks to Wellington. And what became of it. I don't get the flak MetLife Stadium gets the old place was a dump. do I find the obstructed views ridiculously stupid, yeah but all stadiums have obstructed views they can be fixed in a packed game hopefully seats aren't sold there. I am sure the old stadium has obstructed views...

That photo of the obstructed view is a great example of how much Mara cares about the fans and not the money! I am sure that he waived the PSL for that seat and that he did not even charge for the ticket! But that's OK whoever buys that seat can always stream the game on a cell phone or tablet! I think its photo shopped BS pic why was building a new stadium showing he didnt care about the fans? Problem with comprehension I see! Where exactly in my statement I say that "building a new stadium showing he did not care about the fans"? Regardless to what you think, unless you have proof that it is photoshoped the fact remains that based on that photo, my sarcastic comment stands. Do you really think that Mara would waive the PSL for that seat?

His franchise supports hundreds of people. I dont like the stadium much and they dropped the ball when they chose that design/layout. It is what it is and will be around for another 30 years or so. I still love going to the games and watching them play.

You hit the nail on the head Zim!! Its like they intentionally screwed over the people on the upper levels. Going from direct escalators and spirals to what we have now is a total atrocity. Everything on the upper concourse sucks, the food options, the beer options, the amount of bathrooms, and just wait til its time to leave when the game is over. The 100s are beautiful, the rest of the stadium was an after thought

Bottom line is the stadium's design is pretty poor. Don't know who designed it and whom ever reviewed/approved it for the Giants and Jets blew it for sure. Mistakes get made and we move one. I am in the corporate aviation industry and see some aircraft related designs that are so devoid of common sense it blows me away.
The Pride is always for the team and not the stadium right? I didn't love the old stadium because it was nicely laid out etc. If the Giants start to win and become competitive and in my fantasy win another Lombardi I will be screaming "NOT IN OUR HOUSE" right along with the 82,499 fans during the playoff run!!

Having a joint stadium with the Jets was the dumbest idea ever. Met Life stadium itself is also hot garbage. It looks like a ****ing toilet bowl. I say let the Jets have it and let's go get our own shit.
