If recent NFL history is an indication....., Saquan's greatness will last 5 years or less.
Plus he's being over-used.

The days of having a dominant back for the better part of a decade seem to be over. I sure hope he can be excellent for more than five years, but I think the recent data suggests otherwise. |

I would take Tiki in his last 5 years. Its going to be very hard for Saquon to beat those years. I do think SB can put those type numbers up like Tiki did. Tiki was the most exciting giant RB I ever seen. Tiki was good for 2,000 yds each of those years and so exciting. Tiki wound up with 10,000 yds rushing. And I believe 15,000vyds total.He wasn't the player younger that he was older when Coughlin turned him into the RB he was. He fumbled too much and didn't get the chance to show more. We all know "high and tight". Plus his receiving ability.
Saquon is all this at a young age. SB has 2,000 yds plus rushing in 2 years. 3,000+ total yds. By time everything is settled Saquon is going to be 1st in every category as a Giant RB.
The way things are going SB might not wind up with a SB win either. At least Tiki played in one.

Thats all good and well, but lets see SQB stay healthy this season. HE has had some lower half injuries and those can derail him. Not to mention, the mega contract he would need in a couple years to stay at those numbers. |

But that being said I honestly feel SQB has another 2,000 plus yds total, double digit TD's and has a monster year. His best yet.
If SQB is healthy I would think the contract is a no brainer. SQB is 26 or 27 going into his 2nd contract, that's still an awful lot of prime years.

The talent on the OL is decidedly better than last year. Our OLC is decidedly better than what we had last year. Our OC is decidedly better than what we had last year. All of that should add up to a big year for SQB. Hopeful! |

For this list I would have to go Tiki, then Morris, then Hampton. I think Barkley could end up number 2 but I think it would be hard for him to overcome Tiki because Tiki was able to do everything in his prime except play linebacker.
