I remember being disappointed to learn Brookshier didn’t team with Pat when Pat moved on to call games. I liked listening to Tom a well.

I remember being disappointed to learn Brookshier didn’t team with Pat when Pat moved on to call games. I liked listening to Tom a well. Pretty sure he did,all the way up until Madden started in 1981 he then went to play by play with Charlie Waters. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Brookshier He later paired with Pat Summerall on the primary broadcast team for National Football League (NFL) games on CBS during the 1970s Maybe that’s what I was misremembering. Maybe I was disappointed when I First learned Pat and John were working together instead of Tom.

Many people forget about him and Tom Brookshier My brother and I used to rush home from 5:30 mass on Saturday to watch this. It was a weekly ritual during the season.
