Defender held Shep and then ran into him prior to the ball getting there...absolutely a flag.
Sorry, I saw it differently. Shepard stopped short due to under throw and bumped into the defender. Ronde (who'd be more of an expert) saw it that way too. Holding at a minimum.
But hey, ya gotta have your Eli moment...so go get it.

Liked what I saw but 3 win teams find ways to lose games like that Yup.

Jags 7 drives 7 punts in 2nd half. If not for Flowers breakdown allowing the tip we win
But O like last year can't score more then 10/15 points. Done deal

Tough loss in a competittive game against a real good team.
Overall I like what I saw today and so far it seems that NY Giants have drastically improved over last season.

You have one last chance to win, wouldn't you put the 95 million dollar man in?

###k!!! Clay why on earth did we sign him thanks Dave. So frustrating. We should have won that game we were the better team, we moved the ball better did everything we could but that last drive was terribly executed offensively and we blew it.

They were competitive for sure, but they NEED to pull out wins in situations like this. We saw how the Eagles did exactly that at home on Thursday. I know this team had 3 wins last year but they had multiple opportunities to win this game with their highly touted offense on the field and they failed. Bitter taste in my mouth.

Close game against the best Defense in football. I think we crush the boys next week if oline plays average Barkley is the real deal OBJ is back Eli looked sharp minus some missed throws If Flowers and the oline hold up Defense was inconsistent but flashed potential. We get OV back and I like our chances

Losing is one thing. Losing because of an idiotic muffed punt is another. I would be absolutely stunned if that scrub is on the roster tomorrow. I had no sympathy looking at his sad face on the bench afterwards.

Some positives but outcome disappointing of course...I hate to be so pessimistic but I just can't see how this offense will be explosive consistently with this crap OL?...hope I'm wrong though

Same frustrating kind of loss as last year where they play good enough to win but O can only manage 10/15 points

I wasn't talking about the holding, which I may have missed.. but the qb must see and lead the receiver to the ball to be successful. And I don't need no stinkin' Eli moments but they keep on coming!

Defense played very well.
Except for Barkley's great run the running game is missing.
Offense is too dependent on the pass and teams are quickly going to figure that out.
Defense will get worn out as season progresses unless offense can get running game going.
However, it was a good game against a really good and better team.

Obviously should've been a fair catch there, but does anyone think we would've moved down the field for a TD in 50 seconds, when that great defense would know there is no chance we'd be running the ball? Would've been a real long shot.

Shepard ( over short middle ) drop ball did not help. Even down the sdeline should have grabbed the ball.
Clay, dropped punt . Probably, would not have won ( no time outs ) . Will Clay be cut this week ?

Would've been a real long shot. With playmakers like Beckham and Barkley you have a chance from anywhere
