Syracuse still stinks.
Tommy DeVito is still not a good QB.
Babers on the hot seat IMO
His one good year was Eric Dungey carrying the team. Dungey wasnt even his recruit.

Clemson looks like a Machine No one is beating them in the ACC. They're too loaded. I wish that Syracuse was 10% of what Clemson is.

Yet almost every year it seems, Cuse hangs with them in their game against each other. FSU losing to GT was a terrible loss for a team hoping to recapture their spark.

If he has another rough season you have to question it. His recruiting has been very subpar. Last or near last in the ACC every year recruiting.

I remember a few years back where Ole Miss was giving Alabama a run for their money annually.

As a person that was born and raised in Syracuse, it is an extremely difficult sell. The weather is horrible and most of the neighborhoods are crime-ridden and awful. Try driving down Salina (either north or south) Street and you will see all that you need to see. The women there are also fugly for the most part. The University itself is great academically, but it is not an established pro football factory, which is a feature and benefit that would offset a lot of Syracuse's drawbacks. How are you going to convince a good or great player from the west coast or down south (where the best players are at) to come to Syracuse, New York? Shit, we can't even keep the local talent around. How they let Rob Gronkowski (He was in Buffalo, but Syracuse is the biggest school upstate) go all the way to Arizona is hilarious. We get the 2-star or lower recruits with a sprinkle of a 3 or 4-star every once in a while. The only person that could possibly bring Syracuse back to relevance is Urban Meyer and I doubt that he is interested in any level.

This may be true, but his recruiting has been worse than the previous HC, Shafer, Marone and Paul Pas. All did better IMO. Like I said, his crown jewel is Cisco.

Syracuse was my home for 32 + years and it's hard to argue with most of this. Most of the women I've "dated" are from Syracuse. I met my wife in Syracuse and I have 2 daughters in Syracuse so we'll have to disagree on the "fugly" part of you post. Everything else is accurate.

I am pretty sure that you have a beautiful family. Yeah, Syracuse is a hard sell. It will take an elite coach to turn it around.

So, the BIG10 expected to return in October and the PAC12 to follow. Both with their tails between their legs.
Oof, bad look fellas

Cuse takes on Pitt today and they hopefully bounce back. Another tough game. Hopefully they bench DeVito early enough in this one for it to make a difference.
Biggest game of the day is Miami vs Louisville 730pm Not much excitement today

Watching Tommy Devito play QB is like watch Danny Devito screw. Ugly, slow and sloppy. He has such a noodle arm. Its pathetic. He honestly is one of the worst starting QBs I've seen Cuse roll out there for consecutive years. That play calling was awful too after the turnover.

The defense has been playing well, but will be totally gassed in the second half because our offense is so putrid.

Culpepper needs to be the #1
