I predict a Giants victory that'll take everyone by surprise; the team will be a hell of a lot more polished than people think.

watching these games so far I have zero idea what we are going to look like. 2 teams that had new coaches were very competitive (one won) The 3rd ran into an absolute buzzaw with a probable superbowl contender that has been in the same system for 2 years and upgraded both sides of tbe ball.
Also Don't want to use this as a precursor.. But Rivers probably was as responsible for the Colts loss as anything,he has been fading as long as Eli has and probably looking like he should have retired
I have a weird feeling now that if the team plays fundamentally sound football on both sides of the ball and have a sound gameplan to move the ball Nd help the young O lins they have a chance
FWIW Those that want to line up tight and just try to run it into a brick wall Watching tbese games teams are not able to run it unless they spread it and get a safety back out of the box. To me Smart gameplan Get Barkley in space, get Engram in space, and see what C.J Board has as he has 4.42 speed and get him in space...

I echo the feeling that Joe Judge is something very special. He's going to bring this team, kicking and screaming to a winning season and that's just for starters. We win this one with our defense. Giants 17- 14.

Picked the Giants because I always do lol. First time coach Stefansky got smoked by a superbowl contender our first year coach will face the same challenge with the steelers, what Judge has done with this team with tackling accountability and such during what little summer they had I think will serve them well tomorrow .

I predict Judge will be much more intense and animated on the sideline, bringing back memories of successful NYG coaches who had a pulse.

I really would love to just be shocked for once. Shocked that this team/franchise has had enough of this s**t and comes out to surprise us all. Will it finally happen or do we get handled as usual in prime time? Come on Judge, show us this team and your coaches are different.
Lets go Giants!

Ben is another year older and hasnt played in a long time. The Giants need to come out aggressive and not let up for 60 minutes.
Very anxious to see how the the pass rush will be and how Jones will be used. More runs for Danny? Hope so.

Noticed something Teams that supposedly practiced hard played well..(supposedly Gruden upped the intensity of Raider practices this year and his playsrs bought in and it showed) Teams that had a county club atmosphere (pointing at you Dallas)played fundamentally poor football If this trend continues the Giants are going to put up a hell of a fight on both sides of the ball

I agree but the Qb is 38 and has not taken a snap in 350 days. Plus his elbow on his throwing are was reconstructed. Plus their O-Line is banged up. We are getting them at the right time.

I think Ben will have a rusty game but the Giants will have to play almost mistake free football to win. The Steelers can make a few more mistakes and still get it done. Either way, like all of us, I cant wait to see this team's attitude and how hard the play for 60 minutes.

Yeah they will be fundamentally sound as always, and also the continuity in the same system for years many here have always said was overrated is a huge advantage unfortunately We have a fighting chance if we play like we practiced

Hoping Tate plays. Such a consistent WR and favorite target of Jones. Perfect player for a game where we need to get rid of the ball quickly.
Levine Toilolo would also be a big loss for this game.

Either way, like all of us, I cant wait to see this team's attitude and how hard the play for 60 minutes. I think his ball placement is going to be off . His arm has changed (muscle memory) Tendons are not like ligaments Ligaments anchor muscle to bone. Tendons are actuators with sheaths and pulleys that allow the bone to be moved by the muscle . Once a tendon is compromised its functionality decreases because of the scar tissue that forms around the tendon and sheath during the healing process.

I saw a LOT of sloppy football played yesterday. If Judge's message gets through to these players and they are playing fundamentally sound football with limited mistakes then I think this game is closer than a lot of people are making it out to be.
Problem is, Tomlin is no slouch himself. His team will be ready to play.
GO GIANTS

After reading this now I know Ben is going to go off on us.. We’re talking about Ben Roethlisberger, not Ben Stein. If Roethlisberger has a bad game it’s due to our defense or being the 1st game. He’s a hell of QB, and we shouldn’t take him lightly.

I have been through tendon surgery. It is a minimum of 18 months and can take up to 2 years. that is if everything went well with the surgery.

Joe Judge faced him in week 1 last year when the Pats routed the Steelers. They aren't going to want to push Ben in this game, and he'll definitely be tentative until he gains some confidence in his arm. I expect we come after him hard in the beginning of the game.
