Is Judge already approaching the hot seat? An 0-5 start is not only possible, but actually probable now. At this point will management give Judge a second year? "no".....he's not. So they will make a decision after 5 games.?? Ah...thats another big "no" the whole season will be tough. Thats already a given and has been for months. Known by Ownership and the GM

No one is tougher on this team than me. But, even I know Judge is safe with his job. He would have to commit a crime, embarrass himself or the organization for Mara to even consider it. This is Judges team for at lest 3 years. Shurmur and McAdoo weren’t given that, for good reason. No way in hell will Mara pull the plug on another coach that quickly. We need some stability at the position, it’s not musical chairs. I’m with you completely on this. They will give him some time.

We are beating the Bears.... In what? If they have defensive linemen going against our right tackle and center, Saquon and Daniel are in for another beating.

We gave up 1 sack to one of the leagues best pass rush last night. I heard that Jones faced more plays with pressure than any QB this week. I believe it was 20 pressures. And that is saying something since Carson Wentz was running for his life all day against the Redskins.....just think how Washington will feast against the Giant’s offensive line.

I wonder what the price would be for him Meh We already have 2 possession type WRs Pass... Id rather let Ratley get a little burn as he is a deep threat Robinson is a beast dude. No one really realizes what it though since he played for the jaguars and bears. Legit awful qbs. He's legit and still young. I would trade tate and a 3rd round pick. That would be a steal! No more then that though we need rd 1 and 2 next year for dba or pass rush

Jeez No, cool as a cucumber.....but two members of the Giant’s offensive line certainly crumbles under pressure.

As you stated, Shurmur and Macadoo did not get three years. This year’s team might end up with a worse record than the other two coaches ever provided, and Judge has a much more talented roster than his top predecessors ever enjoyed. A 2 or 3 win season does put Judge on the hot seat in my opinion. I also think this may also signal the end of John Mara’s tenure as the operation leader in favor of one of the Tisches, or another Mara. McAdoo lost the team, he had to be fired. Shurmur was just a bad hire by Mara, and he cut his loses. As for Judge, I think we’re a 2-4 win team this year. And that’s being generous. We aren’t ready to take that next step. It was evident last night. The Steelers offense did there best to keep us in the game, once it got to the second half they put the nail in the coffin. You’re an owner. Are you continuously going to change head coaches? If I’m a head coach worth my weight in salt I wouldn’t want nothing to do with that type of environment. The Giants need stability in the worst way. Only way to accomplish that is to give Judge a fair shake. A Huge Problem is we really have no one on the team except maybe Barkley that are playmakers. Especially the Defensive side of the ball. That takes a long time to establish and we are already in year 3 of this rebuild

Bears Linebackers are excellent with Khalil Mack of course and also Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan but their Defensive Line is not anything close to the Steelers. Lets hope they don't let Khalil Mack run Free like they allowed Bud Dupree to Run Free last night. Mack is going to be a Hand Full for Thomas of course, going to need some help from TE's, Running Backs his QB getting the ball out fast. I think Mack Lines Up over the Right Tackle so he is going to absolutely DESTROY Cam Fleming who looked more like Rookie last night than Thomas did honestly I thought the only weakness in the Steeler defense was their run defense

I heard that Jones faced more plays with pressure than any QB this week. I believe it was 20 pressures. I don’t know about that, but Jones had a 63% completion percentage and 279 yds against one of the best pass defenses in the NFL last night. Lots of short passes though mostly because of the pressure. The one to a Slayton was the only deep pass I remember

We gave up 1 sack to one of the leagues best pass rush last night. Quick throws, 3 step drops. Come on, you think Garrett and the Giants were going to go toe to toe with that pass rush? I fully expect the Giants to do that next week as well. The Bears defense is a legit top 5 defense. Remember, we could run on the Steelers. How did that work out? Based on what? They gave up 426 yards and 123 yds rushing to the Lions and sacked Stafford once.

I think Judge said he needs to "look at the tape" after the game more times than McAdoo did the year he got fired....and it's only week 1.
I wonder how many weeks of that the impatient fan base will take before they crumble. The schedule is brutal this year.
All kidding aside, I'm not sure what people expected. It's the same team more or less. The team looked like I thought it would. Shurmur is a respected in NFL circles and got a job quickly after he was fired here. Judge is a promising 38-year-old 1st-year head coach. There will be some growing pains. Owners/Management did a poor job building the team for years.

I don’t expect them to give up those numbers again.

Allen Robinson just requested a trade from the bears so they sound like they are somewhat disfunctional. Should we trade for him?

The Bears don't necessarily scare me, and the 49ers didn't seem like world beaters. We may very well end up 0-5, but I think we just played the best team on our early schedule. I liked what I saw overall last night. I believe having film against an actual opponent, a quality opponent nonetheless, will be very valuable from this young team, and I think we'll see considerable strides as the weeks progress.

I actually came away from the game thinking the OL did OK in pass protection. Pretty impressive on Jones' part if true.

Yes. Trade them tate and a mid round pick. And he wants a 15 million per year contract Hard pass Next yea4 its going to be a bumper crop of UFA WRs (Ju Ju,Gallup, this guy off the top of my head)and another deep WR class Id rather draft the guy opposite Slayton..though 8 have a weird feeling if we make a move on a FA it will be Gallup because of his ties to Garrett

Tate is getting around 10 million so that would be a net of 5. He's a legit proven number one guy so that's fine.
