Barber gained more yards than any other player in the four years between 2003 and 2006. To me, that’s HOF worthy.

Crazy that Barry was only in the league 9 years and put up that many yards.

It’s a bogus argument against Barber when Bettis is in the HOF.

None of them. Tuck isn’t even a Hall of famer.
Shockey? When did the HOF become the Pro Bowl? You let any of those players in and it no longer means anything.

Bettis has 2 Super bowl rings and the numbers to get him in. Since when do rings matter for entering the hall? A well know player on a team that was very good for a long time and has the numbers to get in the Hall is a no brainer. Tiki was good but I think he needed a couple of more years to get him in.

Snee is a HoFer The others are great football players. But its not the hall of great football players. 10k Though tiki 10k yards rushing and 5k yards rec. That is better numbers than oj simpson. OJ Simpson is a much better RB than Tiki ever was. And I like Tiki a lot. OJ did what he did in 14 game seasons, including a 2k rushing season. Its not the same

Tiki and Snee get my nod.
Tuck is one of my fav all time Giants, and was a HUGE reason we won 2 rings vs the Pats, but I think Giants HOF is probably his ceiling. Too many nagging injuries derailed his chances IMO.

Tiki will get in at some point. When he retired he, Marcus Allen and Marshall Faulk were the only backs in NFL history to have 10,000 yards rushing, and 5,000 yards receiving. He’s the only back I can remember that got better as he got older.

It’s a bogus argument against Barber when Bettis is in the HOF. Bettis has 13,662 rushing yards . Barber has over 3000 yards less What is your point? Receiving backs do get in without 12000+ rushing HOF LaDainian Tomlinson 13684 and 4772 HOF Marshall Faul 12279 and 6875 HOF Marcus Allen 12243 and 5411 HOF Walter Payton 16726 and 4538 HOF Curtis Martin 14101 and 3329 HOF Thurman Thomas 12074 and 4458 Not in Warrick Dunn (eligible 2013) 10967 and 4339 ( just this year nominated) 12000 is the Demarcation point . Dunn has more rushing yards by 518 yards and is behind Tiki in receiving by 844 (326 yard difference) I have no sympathy for Tiki on this . He decided to leave the NFL when he still had gas in the tank. He is not getting in because of him and no one else.

It would be pretty easy to point out Barber has more total yards and almost a whole yard higher YPA. I’m not pressed that Tiki is a HOFer as much as I believe Bettis is one of those guys who makes it the Hall of pretty good.

Bettis has 2 Super bowl rings and the numbers to get him in. Since when do rings matter for entering the hall? Since Joe Namath had a mediocre career with barely above a .500 completion %... but guaranteed a SB victory, and got it... although even his SB stats were. so-so, too. If Tiki had one more year, our 2007 SB year, he'd be a shoo in. He burned a lot of bridges with his mouth after his career and a few voters will surely remember that.

Receivers get in the Hall for catching the ball . RBs get in for running the ball. Bettis is #8 on the all time rushing list . He should not be in. Why? Tiki is #27.

Snee is the most worthy out of that group.
Tiki probably did it for too short a period of time, but he could possibly get in.

Snee is the most worthy out of that group. Tiki probably did it for too short a period of time, but he could possibly get in. You see Snee as a hall of famer? I just don’t see that, he had a great career, and his name will always be remembered as long as Giant stadium is still standing. But when I think of hall of famers, especially guards his name doesn’t stick out. Guys like Steve Wisniewski who was a great guard can’t sniff the hall of fame. Which tells me Snee has a snowballs chance in hell of getting in.

Landetta and Shockey are a joke as nominees. Shockey had the talent but wasted it. Landetta didn't even have the talent.
Where the hell is Carl Banks?

How is Sean going to get in again? Yale Lary also www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LaryYa00.htmThat is why he gets in. Because a punter with his accomplishments is rare . If anything Landeta is the quintessential Hall of Famer because of his rarity.

Great? Eh, maybe, but I think you need be the best of the best for the HOF. I just don’t see Snee as being that good.
