I like Gallman - always have.
I think he will have a good year. He should get the opportunity to lead the ground game.
Several on this board are obviously unaware of how good of a RB he is. He showed his game at Clemson but has had little opportunity to strut his stuff yet in the NFL
Stay tuned.

Not playing ST’s has held him back so far with this staff. Look, I hear ya but it’s not like Lewis and Freeman are anything to get excited about. I think Freeman can be a bulldozer. Gallman is held back because of Wayne Gallman. With only Freeman and Lewis on the roster, Gallman is going to get his chances.

I like this move. If freeman has any tread left on the wheels we could have a decent HB by committee back there.

Solid move. Until the rumors about us signing him, I had no clue Freeman was available. Very productive in ATL, and still only 28. I can't recall if he's more of a one-cut back, but he's good coming out of the backfield in the passing game.
Unless he's lost a step, Freeman is a solid stop gap.

I must admit, at least you’re consistent. Wayne Gallman Jr is not a fan favorite in the TEM household. I keep reading he is a great RB that just needs a chance. Why hasn't he got it? Sometime players take 3 to 4 years before they develop in this league.. Couldn't resist..

it will be all hands on deck in the RB group. It has to be. They have no choice. Gallman will be on the active.

I just wonder what type of conditioning he is in My guess. He’s in shape, but not football shape. He knows what to do, he will get up to pace fairly quickly. Time is not on their side, newly signed veterans know they have to pick up the playbook fast and get into football shape even faster. I find it unrealistic that he will be dressed next week. The following week I think he’ll make his debut. I would imagine the team will try to get him up to speed on a few plays .

I’m not expecting much from him, our very own Barkley couldn’t run behind this line. Doesn’t mean Freeman will now. But, he’s a pro, can play out of the back field. And if needed be. Can be a workhorse. This move had to be made. We could not go into the rest of the season with Gallman Jr and Lewis as our backs. I don't know much about where his career has gone or how the injuries will effect him. I do remember him as a different type of runner than Barkley. He is more of a one move guy, choosing not to dance at the point of attack. I saw the same thing from Freeman last week and he was more effective in that short stretch than what we have seen from Barkley most of the time. It might turn out to be a nice addition for us. Blocking schemes can be simplified and the young OL won't have to hold their blocks forever as they have to do with Barkley back there.

It's a depth move. I expect Lewis and Gallman to be the guys. I actually think it's the opposite. Freeman is gonna be the guy starting in week 4 imo.

I wouldn't expect much more than 10 carries this weekend.

If he really took less money to join this team he must be punching himself in the face repeatedly tonight.
