the Niners are not playing to lose. Some second tier players are going to be playing their asses off. The top tiers players left will be looking to be leaders. The Giants have to play like Bosa and Jimmy G etc are out there. The Gmen are in no position to underestimate any team no matter what their injury status is If our team underestimates anyone let alone last year’s NFC champions they ought to take a hike - to quote a former coach. More like a lap than a hike for the current coach.

Have a little faith. We will win this one my friend. I actually believe we should win, but will be totally not surprised or shocked if we lose. Me too.

Zero confidence in this teams ability to win a game. But, maybe the today is the day we turn things around. The optimism is pathetic. Lol

A few things I expect/hope to see:
1- Jones takes a step forward. Decisive, gets ball out quick. Much better pocket awareness, and breaks outside of the pocket on a handful of plays to create with his legs and allow his WR's to ad lib.
2- Another step forward for the OL. Another tough task for the OL, despite the injuries, but I think they'll show improvement all around. More cohesiveness, less communication errors, etc
3- A strong showing by our Front 7. They've shown glimpses of being good, and they've shown glimpses of being bad. I think we'll see some consistent pressure over the course of the game, and I believe that pressure will force Mullens to make a few errant throws resulting in turnovers.
4- A surprising showing by our RB's. For some reason, I see Gallman being the surprise of the bunch. He's a north/south, one-cut type runner. With our OL getting better, but still struggling a bit, his style could be a good fit. Maybe not, but my gut tells me he ends up getting the bulk of the carries.
Big week this week. I would love to come out of the first 4 weeks with 1+ win. Go Giants!!!

Jones should have a big day today. 49ers lost a ton on that defense.

I voted Giants today. The Syracuse Orange established a running game and scored 37 points at home against a shitty team, after looking abysmal in it's first 2 games. Why not the Giants?

Going with upset today, 9ers are missing more key players than we are, and Giants improved play has gone somewhat under the radar screen because both came in losing efforts.
Giants 24, 9ers 20

Thats what I was thinking too. Th3 past couple of years, the Giants and Cuse seem to be following one another. Giants 27-17 If they lose this game, I am never saying they will win again

What is the reason we suck so bad on 3rd down defense? This isn't anything new, had been going on for decades thru many regimes of coaches and players.
