Im sure we will beat Washington and they will draft Lawrence because of it. That certainly sounds like their speed. Meaningless wins and moral victories in losses is what they do best.

Our roster stinks. I don't think that Bill Walsh could win with this roster. I said before this game that the Giants had no business losing to a team this undermanned. You think it is the coaching and I think that it is a lack of overall talent. Maybe we're both kind of right about this. The Giants played better last year with a rookie QB and a much inferior roster. Jones looks like a shadow of himself. We all agreed the defense improved before this game, you can't just blame it on the talent because of today's result. Interesting how no one in the media is referring to him as Danny Dimes anymore. The Media giveth you a nickname and then taketh away

Whether it is better here or not is certainly up for debate. Lol We actually get it right every 7 or so years This period of bad football has been a very humbling experience. How crazy is it that Washington has more division titles than we do this past decade of football? They used to be a real problem in the 80's. Some Giants fans old enough to remember that I know hated them more than Dallas and Philadelphia during that time frame.

If the Giants go 0-16 heads will roll. Regardless of Covid, no preseason, injures. To go winless in a football season means everything from top to bottom is a disaster. No player is safe, GM is shown the door, assistants get let go, it’s a compete melt down. Only one safe is Judge, for the reason ownership likes him and wants to give him a fair shake.
0-16 franchises are linked forever. You’re in the loser club for life..

They can't even beat the 49ers JV squad. Their roster is bottom of the barrel. The schedule is absolutely brutal going forward. Can someone please tell me where they see a win coming on this schedule? Even Washington has improved significantly. I hate ragging on our team like this, but they are hopeless. I really feel bad for the coaches because this Gettleman roster is god awful. Well i started a tankathon thread but ill post it here to After week 5 giants have #1 overall pick www.tankathon.com/nfl

I could get a good look at a T Bone by sticking my head up a bulls ass, but I’d rather take the butchers word for it.

There are no excuses. All of the other teams are in the same predicament. I've seen some bad Giants teams in my lifetime. This one is up there with the worst I've seen. Even worse than the 2013 team that fielded the worst oline you will ever see.

I think we need to give Jones a bit more of an opportunity to show us what he can do before we throw in the towel on the guy.
In Eli's 2nd season he had the same coaches/system, a normal off season to prepare, along with Tiki, Shockey, Toomer, Plaxico as weapons.
Jones learned a new system by Zoom and has Freeman, Engram, Slayton, Tate, and someone else as his weapons.
So everything you say is objective fact. No one can argue it. However, all of this factoring into this coming offseason, if we are in position to draft Trevor Lawrence, would you do it? Has Jones really shown you enough, despite all the things you are saying, to earn the Giants trust. Good question. If I was drafting today, I'd take the QB, but again, it's too early to make that call.
As GL stated, we we're questioning Eli right up to the run in 2007. Back in the 80's there were Giants fans that were positive Phil Simms could not win a Super Bowl.
I need to see more of this team and Daniel Jones.

The only possible “blemish” on the Giants remaining 2020 schedule are the two games against Washington. In the end though, the Giants ALWAYS find a way to lose.
