53 or more players on the team, why would you cancel the game? They have more than enough to play. Next man up! Because they worry about who else is infected.

The difference between college and NFL is pretty interesting.
College games you just see "X number of players missing game due to positive covid test."
NFL its "Game canceled/postponed due to (player name) testing positive."

They should know who's clear & who's not. Guess NFL is running the same way most states have, shut it all down for 1% infected.

I just saw that over 20 players and staff were not at the VT game due to having the virus. They still played the game. And no one is making a big stink about it.
College is definitely trying the herd immunity.

Pats got some fresh positives this morning, and their facility has been shut down yet again. Monday night's game is in question (I'm guessing they will find a way to play it, players health be damned)

Its not the players health. Its them being a carrier and not knowing.

For your sake, I hope that you or someone close to you doesn't get it. I lost a family member to it and the whole situation sucked, especially for my aunt who lost their son. Empathy goes a long way, friend. Get some.

Yeah, it is quite unfortunate. I would put the odds of finishing this season on time at 50/50. You can only reschedule and delay so many games. I can actually see a scenario where the Super Bowl is played in March.

There is no way they're going to make teams forfeit their games because of this.

My cousin & his wife who live in SC caught it while attending church, they're good to go. A Marine brother of mine in Florida caught it, he's good to go as is a Navy Corpsman buddy of mine who lives in NC. All in their late 40s or early 50s, none smokers, not obese. Like I said, 1% mortality rate has some of you running around scared. I guess that Heart attacks, cancer, murders, vehicular deaths have all ceased these past 9 months & everyone is just dying of the China virus?

Regular seasonal flu will probably kill just as many this season or more & the media will not usher a word about it. Doesn't fit the narrative they're going for. Stop being dense.

(1-8,9-16,ect)so we could be ofer and have the 8th pick (our luck of course) What about contracts?(maybe pay the players through 8 games their contracts and roll tbe unused money to 2021?

They already said it would be by record then strength of schedule. So if there are 4-5 0-5 teams, SOS is the determining factor.

Tankathon has us getting the first and NFL.com has us at 2 behind the Jets. I referenced Tankathon, but NFL.com is more reliable about this. www.nfl.com/news/2021-nfl-draft-order-jets-giants-in-top-two-spots

More college Florida - LSU game cancelled due to a Covid breakout of 19 Florida players and staff members. The Nicktator also has it What's frustrating is 80% of these cases are either asymptomatic or barely noticeable Doug Peterson said he only felt groggy for a day and lost his taste when he had it
