On a team full of slot WRs, the last thing we need is another slot WR. Not a great route runner, not really a burner, not really ideal for us

They did say he will run in the 4.4s and is tough to tackle also he had some problems with drops, I was thinking 3rd or 4th for a guy like him when I saw he had that RB size it got my attention. Thanks you guys help me a ton Aris Legacy I haven't been able to free up Saturdays the way I used to.

Read an article this morning about how this kid D'Wayne Eskridge is putting on a show at the Senior Bowl. I immediately liked what I read, and based on the little research I've done since getting home from work I like him even more.
If we address WR in FA and, or, early in the draft as we all expect, Eskridge can be that mid-round pick who adds a different dynamic to our offense and special teams.

Getting some major hype Me like Desmond Fitzpatrick, looked good in Senior Bowl. He has good measurements . Looks like he has prototypical number 1 speed (think 4.5 or under)and quickness .... You don't wait to hope this guy is around however in our situation like some fans want " bEcAuSe tAkInG a rEcIeVeR eArLy bEfOrE dEfEnSe nEvEr wInS cHaMpIoNcHiPs" or tbe other goober rhetoric the morons on BBV spew because they are still allergic to the foward pass What this guy does is give us the ability to flood the field withe waves of dynamic playmakers after taking our guy early if he is still available

I think I'd be happy with Waddle.
Liked those eskridge highlights. Outside of the super obvious elite speed, he seems to have other traits of a really good athlete like good dynamic balance. His hands looked solid too. Obviously that's a later in the draft flyer though.

He's got great ball control, runs real sharp routes, and is a more than willing blocker. Could be worth a shot as a late round pick

Tony Pauline was on a sports talk show . His hidden gem receiver's were Tre Nixon ( UCF ) and Austin Watkins UAB. Anyone , with thoughts on either player.

Someone posted clips of Watkins He had zero seperation in any of them. When every catch is contested it screams of someone who can't even get seperation at a lower level of competition... Hard pass

Pitts 6'6 and ran a 4.46 at the Pro Day. Some say he would have no problem playing WR.

Except he is not a fulltme WR How many players made a successful transition from TE to WR Pitts looks like he can run routes like a WR. Surprised how nimble he looks on the routes. Nate Burleson called him "Pitts is not a TE, he's a really large WR." He's looking like a bigger and faster Plaxico to me, sounds like he is shooting up draft boards. Good point regarding the transition from TE to WR but Pitts sounds like he has something extra. Mel Kiper said he's the highest graded TE he's ever graded.

The thing is that he is a better blocker coming out than Engram was (and contrary to popular belief Engram isn't horrible at blocking as long as his assignments are not against legit DE's and edge rushers like we tried last year) What Pitts is is a hybrid H back/large bodied slot WR than can be moved around .. You take away his match-up mismatch advantage moving him to a full-time outside WR

You should tell the Giants scouts not me the Giants have showed interest. I think I posted about him early in this thread. However I am not at experienced as you with football or scouting so I might be wrong. I am just glad that I picked a guy with my limited football knowledge that the Giants actually interviewed. I don't take much stock into the 40 either especially when it is run in one's underwear. If he was 180 pounds 4.6 might be a tad slow. He is 16 pounds heavier than Golladay and runs 1 sec slower. For 220 at 4.6 and being that tall it shows lower body explosiveness and strength. He'd be hard to bring down at that speed and weight. You should start looking into weight adjusted 40 times.

I did Too slow, would only be a possession reciever at best, which are useless in the modern game as a starter. His body type won't allow him to he able to run crisp sudden precise routes either Will not get seperation at the next level
