I wouldn't trade Gleyber Torres either.

I wouldn't trade Gleyber Torres either. Gleyber Torres really isnt that great of a defensive SS though. And DJL is now the 2B for the next 5-6 years. Still would be very tough to trade GT though with all his potential. Id probably pass as well.

Blue Jays sign George Springer for 6 years $150m. That lineup is stacked. Lets see if he can hit without cheating though.

The Yankees added another arm Thursday, signing right-hander Asher Wojciechowski to a minor league deal, a source confirmed. The 32-year-old was released by the Orioles following last season, after he appeared in 10 games and had a 6.81 ERA. The former first-round pick of the Blue Jays has struggled throughout his career, with a 5.95 ERA in 57 games. But he is among the pitchers who has worked with Yankees’ director of player health and performance, Eric Cressey, who has ended up signing with the team — including Corey Kluber. nypost.com/2021/01/21/yankees-sign-former-orioles-pitcher-to-minor-league-deal/

Wow. High risk/reward type here. I liked Roansey Contreras potential. Canaan Smith was a nice bat too.

Good trade IMO... Considering I never heard of any of the four prospects before.
Yajure pitched for the Yanks during the COVID 2020 season, but I don't remember that.
Taillon was originally drafted between Bryce Harper and Manny Machado, and he's ready to come back after his SECOND TJ surgery

Smith could be a nice DH in the future and Contreras showed some promise. Yajure pitched a tickle in the MLB. I dont recall it either. The Yanks rotation is still very risky though. Kluber and Tallian both off of bit injuries. Severino too. German missed most of the year. Monty hasn't seen many innings the past couple of years. Garcia limited.

Sounds like they traded Adam Ottovino to clear up money to resign Brett Gardner...
The Yankees basically sold a pitching prospect and Ottovino to the Red Sox for cap relief.
This team is losing it.

Do any of you believe this hype? I do I'm not sure I believe the hype, since they are saying he is the next Trout, at 17... but I do think he is going to be a great player. His hand eye coordination is on point, along with his athletic CF defense and his power. He is up there in all the 5 tools they always talk about. Only concern is does he have too much bulk already at 17?

New York Post | Dan Martin: Gary Sánchez made waves last month with a candid offseason interview in which he expressed frustration with the Yankees’ lack of communication with him about his benching, among other things. Well, Brian Cashman has fired back in a big way, saying that he “doesn’t care” if Sánchez was given an explanation for his benching because “(He) had a horrible year on both sides of the ball. (He) lost (his) job in the most important time of the season, which is October baseball. I’m not sure an explanation is necessary.” Cashman also expressed his support for Sánchez, as evidenced by giving him a raise in arbitration, but it seems like this relationship is not as strong as it used to be. They need to trade him already. He still has some value because his power, but he is not the catcher this team needs unfortunately. NJ.com | Randy Miller: Although it appeared that the Yankees might be ready to let Domingo Germán reclaim his spot in the starting rotation, Cashman stopped short of confirming that in a recent interview. Cashman said that Germán is “on the roster,” but they are planning on having an in-person conversation with him in Tampa before committing to his spot on the team. Hal Steinbrenner had previously said that he has to feel “absolutely comfortable” that Germán is sorry for his actions and that he’s turned his life around before allowing him back on the team. Germán hasn’t pitched since September 18, 2019, due to a suspension for domestic violence. German better get on that ass kissing tour because the Yanks need him in the back of the rotation. www.pinstripealley.com/2021/2/1/22259327/yankees-news-gary-sanchez-brian-cashman-domingo-german-cba-owners-2020-mlb-schedule

Yankees' Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton have taken a 'dramatically different approach' to their offseason training Yankees sluggers Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are two of the most physically fit athletes in the major leagues, and are known to hit for power. Despite their strengths, both have struggled with staying healthy on the field. This offseason, both stars decided to change the way they work out and improve their bodies. Yankees Director of Player Health and Performance Eric Cressey spoke about their training with YES Network on Thursday. "Both of those guys took a dramatically different approach this offseason from what they've previously done," Cressey said. "I'd say in both cases, they lifted less than they have in the past. Aaron in particular has really taken a heavy interest in a lot of yoga... sports.yahoo.com/yankees-aaron-judge-giancarlo-stanton-022332598.html
