Man they had that game last night. They played well, just didn’t close it out. Even after the putback Randle had such a great look. So it is. Man, such a good game. Knicks games(aside from the excitement of them being competitive) are such a throwback. Those 2 games in LA were just great games to watch.

congrats to the Knicks, for clinching a playoff spot. Hopefully we line up against Atlanta for round 1. Won't be so comfortable against Nets or Bucks.

Basketball is going to be relevant in the NY market and possibly in ways we haven't seen with the Nets being a top team

Looks like a win vs the Celtics today locks the Knicks up as the #4 seed.
Who would have thought...
Exciting.

I'm very impressed by the way the team handled their business towards the end of the season. I'm really looking forward to seeing them in the playoffs, and think they have a good chance of getting to the 2nd round.

Nope... This dude should be in the conversation for the NBA all defensive team. He has been ridiculous. You look at some of the players added who you shrugged your shoulders about and they have been so valuable to the team. Next to D Rose, this guy is right there. Then again, Bullock, Burks, Gibson. What Thibs has gotten out of this team is amazing. I think he’s a great shot for COY.

Unfortunately they just give it to the best team and flashiest player (Curry or Lebron). Knicks would not be in the playoffs without Randle.

All this money they were going to have available, now they have to pay Randle and you know they are going to keep Rose. That won’t be cheap either. That said there should be enough for 1 legit add to this team. The dream is Lillard IMO. You could send Portland plenty of assets to get him. 1st rounders, IQ and Toppin would be fair game.

I would hate for them to give up on Quickly. Toppin seems to have some serious limitations. I guess missing on Halliburton was big now.

No more trading draft picks. We did that for two decades and all it did is make us the laughing stock of the league. Draft better, invest in players who play both sides of the ball, and most importantly. Change the locks of the building, so James Dolan can’t get in. If anyone can ruin a good thing, the trust fund baby can.

He is the type of transformative player that takes is from good to legit contenders. That’s not to dismiss your opinion, but the NBA is a stars league. We are so fortunate to have this coach, the transformation of Randle and the growth and commitment of a young guy like Barrett that one player like Lillard could make the difference.

While this is true, the Knicks did that with Carmelo, and it never really paid off. And it hurt them for a decade after. They have a nice core here. Hopefully they can get a stud (or 2) in Free Agency and continue to build the depth in the draft. They also screwed up the Porzingis trade. Should have gotten much more in return.

Every time I watch an NBA game Im reminded why its so hard to watch the NBA.
Trey Young got "fouled" like he was Lebron. Refs gave him quite a bit when he drove the lane. If the Knicks defenders looked at him the wrong way it was a foul.

Knicks get it done
Series tied at 1
Blue and Orange with the big night.
Randle doesn't look so good right now though.

Absolutely love it. Great comeback win for the Blue and Orange. Speaking of blue and orange, am I the only one who's not a fan of those black jersey's?
Randle is a bit concerning, but I just think he's in his own head and is overthinking things. He just needs to play. Maybe this small break and going on the road will be good for him.
On a side note, for all the F'ing haters in the media world that have tried to say the Garden is dead over the last few years can take a hike. That place looked like it was rocking last night. There's no doubt future FA's are taking notice and will want to play in NY.
The kids are back baby.

After the Obi rejection turned full court sprint, turned alley oop, they better get some engineers in there to test the foundation! Good lord!!

I loved his effort down the court on that play. He was flying and I'm glad he got rewarded. Between him and IQ, we have two rookies to be excited about.

Physically gifted but out of sorts at times playing. I did enjoy that Toppin 3 pointer though, along with the house coming down on the dunk. Garden was rocking like the Barn was last night. Loved it all. Those places were LOUD.

Randle just proves how far your game can come strictly with hard work. I think you’ve only seen the tip of the Iceberg for Toppin. I actually love his play in these spurts and the best part about that play was it was started with a tremendous defensive play. He can score, he needs to learn defensive responsibility.

You have to wonder how one of these games would go if at least either Barrett or Randle didn’t play like ass. Very frustrating to watch.

I decided to check the Knicks out last night and realized after watching a good part of the 2nd quarter why I no longer watch basketball.
That Young Kid for Atlanta is a player.
And what’s up with all the acting to draw penalties?
