Hip Flexors or strains are managed with stretching/rest. Not sure what you're looking at as im not finding any long term issues relative to his hip its not like he has an arthritic hip or an Achilles tear. Look OBJ he keeps going on IR one of them was a hip flexor. Do you want to pay a guy that has a leg injury history big bucks? Haha just because OBJ had a hip flexor issue one year and went on IR doensn't mean that this is a serious issue from a macro level. I had a hip flexor issues in the past and they're not serious at all. Like I said, if the doctors check him out and give teams the OK then why are you so concerned?

One of them was a hip flexor. Do you want to pay a guy that has a leg injury history big bucks? We been there done that. Giants were lucky to trade him when they did he has never been the same and he can't shake the injury bug good example and thats a guy who can run.

Nicks career was cut short because of his legs. That is where it started. Could his other injuries be due to his body compensating for a diminish hip? Hard to say. But it could have been. Nicks came in running in the 4.6s, he did not have a step to give he had several leg injuries hip flexer then compartment syndrome then Talib stepped on the back of his ankle and knee while he was beasting him and the bucs, It just took to much from him of something he couldn't afford to give speed. When a guy is a 4.4 guy and he loses a step he can survive Nicks just didn't have that step to lose to bad great hands new how body the defender and turned into a good route runner. i am not a fan of FA WRs with leg injuries getting big bucks . But that's me.

Nicks, Steve Smith, and Victor Cruz must have all had pre-existing injuries that were overlooked!

We get him cheap . I have no problem with it.

You can think what you want, its a fact that hip flexors aren't serious.

With the Giant interest during the year I suspect they will make a large bid for him. Question is how, especially with the LW situation? Golladay is a perfect scheme fit and could change this offence. I'd love Golladay, I think he'd be great here.

my personal feeling is to be leary signing WRs to mega-deals. There seems to be so many good ones coming out of college right now, make the investment one of draft picks instead of salary cap. We're seemingly set up to grab one of the top ones in this draft, and if we go another direction in the first, there should still be a number of good ones to choose from in the 2nd. They need to spend a 1st or 2nd if they don't sign a high end FA, that's for sure.

He’s the only elite WR available and will command a big premium.
Not sure that we have cap room to win a bidding war

At this point, I'd pass. I think there are other options that would make more sense.
We already see teams are being forced to make unexpected cuts. If we decide to go after a WR in FA, pluck one of these guys suddenly looking for a job. For example, I just saw Emmanuel Sanders and John Brown were let go. Neither are going to make headlines, but both could be solid contributors for cheap.
From there, focus on the draft to get our WR1. By all accounts there's plenty of talent at WR and TE coming out of college. We could grab one of the Big4 at #11 then grab another WR/TE in Rd. 2+.

Of course we would all love to have a receiver of his talent. I have no idea how they can even be in the mix. Though this is not an ordinary year.
With the money it would cost for him we could sign perhaps an 2nd tier edge rusher and an inside LBer. Say Van Noy and J. J. Wright from Seattle. Don't know if either is an edge rusher but these type all star players.
We have to draft Waddle or whichever of the top 4 receivers is there. Possibly sign a 2nd tier WR or draft a 2nd WR say with the 2nd or 3rd pick.
