Victor Cruz is one of the Greatest Wide Receivers in N.Y. Giants history. He was electric, showed up in big games, fast, his connection with Eli Manning was on point. Victor Cruz was also a Great slot WR who could play on the outside, he was very versatile in his prime years. Victor Cruz was a big reason & his presences was instrumental in the Giants winning Superbowl 46. Victor Cruz is one of the Greatest WR's in N.Y. Giants history.

I don't think there's a Giant fan that doesn't respect what Victor Cruz did for the Giants. I loved him and am so glad he won a SB with us. Even an old guy like me with no rhythm whatsoever did that stupid little dance when he scored a TD. I loved the guy.

Victor Cruz was a great story. Local kid who played for a small school, signed with us an undrafted free agent. Becomes a household name against the Jets in the preseason game. Earns a chance to play in ‘11 and never looked back.. At his peak, he was uncoverable in the slot. Carlos Rodgers of the 49ers famously said on the sidelines in the NFC Championship game. “I can’t cover him.” He made grown men try doing the salsa in their living rooms. And became a fan favorite fairly quickly. Unfortunately, for a knee injury he was never the same player. He will always be remembered as a kid who came from nothing and became something over night.

Always loved Cruz; that 2011 season I spent yelling at the TV "GO TO CRUZ" and they usually did.....if not then Nicks and that was a real treat as well.

If the left doesn’t get you (Cruz) the right certainly will (Nicks) Will we have that kind of WR impact this season? I don’t think we’ll have that type of impact that we had in ‘11. Nicks and Cruz when they were on top of their game were in the same discussion as the best receiving tandem in the league. Manningham was our 3rd receiver and he could have started for many teams. The addition of Golladay will be huge, his sheer presence will give Slayton, Shepard and Ross better mismatches. I just hope they all get up to speed quickly. A lot of new faces on our offense, they all need to be on the same page sooner than later.
