I always felt Tebow blew his chance in The NFL by trying to be a QB when it was obvious it wasn't working out for him... To be fair, outside of the horrible throwing motion (most lefties have; see another TT Tua Tags), he was 8-6 as a starter and had a 17:9 TD:INT ratio in those games. Also, he won a playoff against Pittsburgh with 316 yards 2 TDs 0 INTs including the game winning TD pass. But man, he threw a wobbler of a ball.

Interesting thought, has there ever been a smooth throwing lefty QB?

Still looks odd to me though. Always looks like they "push" the ball instead of throw it. Oh how can I forget Mike Vick.

His issue was his body type made it impossible to have good mechanics as too much upper body muscle is horrible for a qb It's why Dave Brown had such a terrible motion and mechanics..why both Culpepper and McNabb got horrifically inaccurate when they put on too much upper body mass..

Hey all you Gator fans, we have a shuttle running from Gainesville to Jacksoville where you can see Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow together again. Let’s support our Gators!!
I think that sums up the Jags ticket strategy

Oh shut the **** up and thank your lucky stars Urban Meyer is in the NFL. If not, you would still be striking out against future car salesman in the minors.

This sounds like a publicity stunt. Who the hell signs a 33 year old player who hasn’t played a down of football in nine years? The laughter doesn’t stop there, he’s going to play a position he has never played before. The man who can’t hit the broad side of a barn if he was standing in front of it is going to play tightend. No way will he beat out NFL athletes who actually play the position. This guy is nothing more than a gimmick. A sideshow for the fans who are still holding out hope for Tebows arrival. Great College player, mediocre pro player. But they'll sell some jerseys.

Interesting thought, has there ever been a smooth throwing lefty QB? Young Stabler I think Boomer Esiason was a lefty. Think maybe the top 3 Stabler, Vick, and Esiason. Perhaps Steve Young ? I'm a lefty and we can't throw anything straight. I even have a hook when I play darts.

Listen, if Engram can keep his job at TE, why not Touchdown Timmy?
Its going to be interesting to see how they use him. And if it somehow works.

I don’t get it. Have a team in complete transition with a QB who might be the next John Elway. So bring in a old 32 year old at a position he’s never played? What if Lawrence comes out slow? Does he need to be answering Tebow questions? That’s all the media will ask.

He could also be an emergency backup qb if the need arises. I like Tebow, but the problem is that he has been out of football for 6 years. A year or two I can see it. Hate to be cynical but I thinks its really a publicity stunt

You have an all time College coach who never coached a down of professional football. You have the 1st overall pick who happens to be highly regarded as the next franchise quarterback. And one of the worst quarterbacks who ever graced this game is now their new tightened. All you need now to top off this fruit cake is to have the Jaguars on hard knocks.

This guy just can't help himself... STEPHEN A. SMITH SHOCKINGLY SAYS TIM TEBOW’S NFL COMEBACK IS ‘WHITE PRIVILEGE "I’m happy for him, meaning Tim Tebow specifically, but when you look at the totality of the situation, If I’m gonna bring up white privilege when I brought up Steve Nash getting the job in Brooklyn, is this not an example of white privilege?” Smith said. “What brother you know is getting this opportunity?” “That makes people uncomfortable because we’re talking about race when I say something like that,” he added. “Let me be the first to say – I don’t give a damn how you feel. I mean what I say. It is white privilege because that’s not something that’s happening for any brothers out there.” www.totalprosports.com/2021/05/24/stephen-a-smith-shockingly-says-tim-tebows-nfl-comeback-is-white-privilege-video/Haha.... Idiot.

Idiot. I rather listen to Bobcat Goldthwait and Gilbert Gottfried talk about grass than listen to this moron. And, to answer his question of “what brother you know is getting this opportunity?” You’re Stephen, you should have been fired a long time ago. But, ESPN is a spineless, gutless company. Anyone who listens to his show must not like themselves. Listen to him for 5 minutes, and you’ll end up stabbing your ear drum with a pencil.

I haven't seen that comparison. There was a couple teams looking at wanting to convert DJ to a TE coming into the draft, instead of a QB. I never saw any teams looking at jones like that but he could be big enough to handle it..
