Clearly this is a sure sign that Jones is actually the best QB in the NFC east.

Daniel Jones is the Rodney Dangerfield of quarterbacks. Not only does he get no respect, but laughter seems to follow him wherever he goes. When you look at the division, it’s Dak Prescott and everyone else. Jalen Hurts is still wet behind the ears, he has started only four games. So, he gets an incomplete. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a career journeyman. He’s been tossed around more than a football. However, he has proven to be a good quarterback in this league. And last and most certainly least, the man of the hour, he needs no introduction. Very good rookie season, played very well under quarterback friendly Pat Shurmurs offense. If you ask fans would you take Pat Shurmur back as an OC. Most if not all would say yes. He gets the most out of young quarterbacks, and understands how to utilize their strengths. Jones sophomore season should be forgotten. I won’t talk much about it, for it makes me sick.
Now, is he the worst of the bunch? Probably not. You can make a fair case he could be the 2nd best quarterback in the division. On the other hand, you can say he’s the worst of them all. As of right now he has a lot to prove. Not only to this fan base, but to everyone. I will say this, if he fails it won’t be from a lack of trying. The kid does everything his coaches ask of him.

Overall he is a losing QB over a very long time. Jones has lots to prove but ranking the NFC East QBs after Dak is all speculation. Hurts and Jones are still new and Fitz wont get you anywhere.

We've seen Prescott in the playoffs, and we've seen Fitzpatrick when the playoffs are on the line. We haven't seen Jones yet, in this type situation. Last year he did his job last game against Dallas got the win and also first game against Philly dropped a TD on EE not his fault but that last game was a playoff game. This is true - I guess I was not looking at it that way, because of the poor record. So he has proven that he can rise to the occasion, as opposed to the others who haven't in past situations.

I think we need more of a sample size but he doesn't seem to get flustered actually he seems a little to calm in the eye of the storm he stands in and delivers some good balls under heavy pressure, also his first start he handled the pressure of taking over for Eli like it didn't even faze him. Think as I said we need more to know what we have this season should hopefully answer some of the questions.

If I can add, Dak is still recovering from a season ending knee/ leg injury .I want to see how well he holds up before I declare him King of the NFC East. Dak had a broken ankle a bad one, none the less breaks heel better and faster then ligaments and tendons, Think Dak might have some rust I expect he will be fine with pressure and coverage he can be beat, we have to remember the protection and running game has started to slow down for him and the cowboys and they don't have 2 Patsies in the division anymore with us and washington improving.

What has Fitz done in the NFL? The guy's on his 7th team. He's done what he's done. He's thrown for 34,000 yards and 200+ TD's. He's almost always on bad teams. This is his chance to be on an otherwise good team. All he has to do is be a good leader and a good game manager. Given his career, I think it fits him well.
I guess I would say the most profound thing he's done is be a pretty fun guy in the league who can occasionally make some plays.
being a game manager did wonders for Trent Dilfer and it won him a SB....

Hell no.. As much as I think Jones is a work in progress. I would not trade him for an over the hill player. Mind you, all three quarterbacks are anywhere from 2-4 depending on who you’re asking. We have a good idea what Fitzpatrick and Prescott are. Jones and Hurts are the ones trying to make a name for themselves.

As far as I'm concerned the jury's out on every one of these guys but for different reasons.
Prescott has to show he can be what he was before the injury. Fitz has to show he can be more consistent than on fire one week and under water the next. Jones has to show that he can reduce the turnovers and take the next step in his development. Hurts doesn't have a lot of playing time in the NFL and also needs to prove himself to be better than a 50% passer.

Yea I think he will be fine, he depends on his legs to by time more then running for yards, he gets his but usually he chooses to stay and throw it

I'm not sure I'm gonna put a huge gap between Dak and Fitz, but I think I would put a good size gap between Fitz and Jones. If Jones isn’t a better QB than a career backup, the future is hopeless. I don’t know if Jones is a franchise QB yet, but I know Fitz isn’t. the jury is still out on Jones it isn't on Fitz....

Even Dak isn't a sure fire top QB in the division. Him having the best OL, best RB, best TE and best WRs has certainly been beneficial. I would not be shocked if someone surpassed him though. It's not like he is Rodgers or Mahommes.

No other QBs in the league are Rodgers or Mahomes at this point. I actually have to issues with Dak from a QB stand point. He seems like a very solid guy and a team mate and I like his game as well. He was thrust into starting when he wasnt ready and has worked at his game very year to get better. He's a fourth round pick lets not forget. He's the class of the NFCE at this point. Lets see if Jones can change that.

We can't ignore he has had the best situation BY FAR. If he was on the Jets he would have been sent packing by now.

I don’t know if Jones is a franchise QB yet, but I know Fitz isn’t. I'm almost afraid to say what I feel Jone's future will be, right now based on what I've seen he looks to me to be backup quality, but its still a little early to make a judgement like that on a young player, 3rd year has been a career changer for a lot of young QBs so there is still hope...
