Well, if the reason he had a gun was because he was worried about people coming after him, he may want to invest in a body guard given he just signed a $14M contract.

Hopefully, he will now grace the team with his presence at OTA’s.

All the picks are signed . Isn't it crazy early to have all the picks signed? If I'm not mistaken, a few years back the Giants were scrambling to get their picks locked up right before camp.

All the picks are signed . Sweet! Didn't realize that. I believe next week is mandatory camp? Hopefully media is allowed, I'm looking forward to having something to read up on.

Hopefully, he will now grace the team with his presence at OTA’s. Nah, there is to much pressure from the NFLPA. You know they did send that 1 e-mail that went straight into Toney's spam mail box, that's terrifying! Do you know what would have happened if Toney ended up attending? The NFLPA might just get around to eventually sending another e-mail. How come some fans just aren't empathetic to the pressure of 2 random e-mails hitting your spam mail box can do to a young player?

I think Toney is going to need a tutor to help him learn the offense. If it was me I'd give him extra attention and help cause he could be such a new dynamic in our offense. I want him ready to go as soon as possible. I think he winds up lining up in 3-4 spots. 3 WR spots, the backfield, in motion, plus ST's. It's a lot for a rookie to grasp i would think.
I wouldn't be surprised if Goloday, Shep, and Ross are our starting wideouts. With Slayton and Toney being plugged in. There is a whole bunch of speed in these WR's. I honestly don't think we miss a beat with any combo of these guys.
Just think this guy is going to be a hell of a weapon.

This guy has cat like reflexes and can turn on a dime, just need to get him up to speed. With the way the country is going, I think the preseason games are going to happen so that helps. People always joke around and complain that there're worthless but that is incorrect. It gives rookies a taste of a NFL game and maybe they end up loosing those butterflies in their stomach by the time the regular season begins. The Giants need to get there players up and running by game 1 of the regular season, not 2 or 3.

The first game he will get a few targets.

First and foremost they have to sit this rookie class down and .......... 1) Teach them how to drive in the NY/NJ area! 2) Not to go to Florida to play cards! How to store an AR in your sweatpants.

How to store an AR in your sweatpants. And not slip up and shoot a hole in your thy. Walking around with a gun in your pants is so stupid, he is lucky he didn't shoot something else.... Damn, Plaxico ruined the chances chances of winning another and they were better team in 2008 than they were when they won the Super Bowl. It could have been 3 in 5 years....

The way NYC is devolving into violence and crime, getting a weapon for defense is a wise move.

The only way he might really suffer under NYC law would be if he were a police officer.

Oh it's a shit show and DeBlasio is clearly the worst Mayor in NYC history (and there are really bad ones) but those people that are out on bail are out for petty crimes and misdemeanors. Felony weapon possession is a different case entirely. Like I said, hard pass or avoid the city, which is easy now a days...

How is owning a weapon a character issue? In the past year I purchased a Troy A4. In fact I consulted Irish Mike's advice on it. Before I bought it. He is the boards weapons expert. Exercising your 2nd amendment rights should never be a clalafacation of a bad individual .

I agree completely, and I do not own a gun or plan to buy one……but the 2nd amendment rights cannot and should not be considered something bad.

It's not, unless he decides to bring an unlicensed handgun into a club in NYC and shoot himself in the thigh like a dumbass...

Still a nice purchase on your part though. People get a little nutty when talking about guns. I try to avoid those discussions at all costs. It's hard though, not going to lie.
