His actions already becoming a "distraction". Not saying this is a big deal or not, or even if it matters in the long run, but the point is, his action is causing a story to be pushed. Hopefully this all goes away and he hits the ground running. He could be a dynamic weapon if his head is where it needs to be. These Florida players always make me wonder. It's a good thing that mandatory minicamp begins today.

Why would the Giants need to provide him access to a money manager? That sounds a bit racist to me. Providing this kind of support to young, quickly rich athletes is a good idea for any young player... Regardless of their race. Who's providing the support? Players. agent, union or management?

No comment from Judge can mean most anything...but I'm gonna lean towards the Bill Belichick school of media relations in ...none of anybodies business but ours Kid seems more into himself thus far vs the team in my view....hopefully he proves us all wrong and now works his ass off...and buys all the bling his neck can carry

The NFL. I recall years back they gave all the rookies a four day course on financial planning and hiring investment advisers. Not sure if they’re still doing this. They should, these young men are about to make a lot of money all at once. Providing them with recourses and guidance can only help them. We can sit here and say this should be easy. However, put yourself at 21 again and you just got a check that has more zeros than a prison yard. Hard not to go wild and buy everything you ever wanted.

Well, in today's environment...commenting that a player should buy this or that could become an ESPN talking point quite quickly....it is what it is. Do I agree with some athletes needing financial advice as they gain some rookie guarantee?...yeah, but not here, and not in that video....not because Toney is purchasing a necklace or whatever else he was in that video. I'm far more distressed at the image it portrays regarding missing his workouts, and a music career I am hearing...same stuff that kept me away from wanting Jaelan Phillips, who was taken 2 spots earlier. Sure, he had concussions, but it was that question on the love of the game vs music. You need to know a player is all in playing football, and I'm now wondering after that video if Toney is indeed all in. Same reason I hated Josh Rosen, and loved Josh Allen...the love of the game. I already feel Toney has his money on his mind and it's being handled his way, and I'm hoping this 1st round contract is not something he is using to further a brand or other business venture. That's the worrisome part....the Judge culture Not every athlete can become Roger Staubach, but yeah...100,000 dollar Bentleys for mom might not be the best money move to start a career...but in this video, I see nothing that makes we worry about where or what Toney spends his money on....why would it?

I’m not concerned one bit. However, I feel young players should always have the proper recourses to guide them in their young career. Right now, everyone is your friend, and long lost family members will come out of woodworks. It’s very easy to think the money tree will last forever. Unfortunately, it does dry up at some point.

I'm 56, my college degree is in Accounting, and I appreciate the help that I can get, so yeah, providing these kids with guidance is a really good thing to do.

They do have such a thing...its called the NFL rookie transition program ( formally known as the NFL rookie symposium) You guys worry about the silliest things

If we are, we have you to talk us off the ledge. If that doesn’t work, you can bore us to death with Gettlemans accomplishments.

Nah, I think its a mandatory 2 year sentence even with no record. That's a hard pass on that one chief... In NYC everyone walks free after arrested......the.courts do next to nothing now. The only way he might really suffer under NYC law would be if he were a police officer. Yeah, ask plaxico about that.
