I don't want to see it but I think the chefs will cook with what they have. so you assume they know what they have for 2021 already? Jones has to take a major step forward this season. He cant so that if they just want him to manage games. Then again some feel that Jones doesnt have what it takes so in that case one would be looking to next years draft. I can't give any tangible proof, only that my gut tells me they know exactly what they have and they are not 100% confident he's the man. I go by nothing more than a hunch. I could be 100% wrong and I hope so. I was this dead wrong too on Kerry Collins who I lmao'd when the got him. He turned out to be one of my favorite Giants QBs. I hope DJ turns out the same but the game designs we've seen doesn't tell me the coaches are confident in Jones and have played conservative to keep him from harming himself.

Fair points and we all go on hunches. I want him to succeed ( you do too) so my thought process is different. Also much of the conservative play calling came after his injury but I can see where they want to limit the fumbles/picks. Lets sit back and see what happens.

The conservative play calling was because we had a pathetic group of recievers and no offseawon and no preseason games as well. We didn't load up on weapons to have a frumpy offense

Thats the bottom line. Some think he can and some think he can't. At this point in time both views are valid IMO. Other players have to take steps forward too of course.

With the changes this off-season, no excuses anymore. At least on paper, our skill players should allow for a very creative offense.

There are valid reasons for his good and bad traits. Most are his alone and other are from the team around him. The entire offense has to step up. I mean the oline last season was LT- Struggling rookie, LG- Struggling 3rd year vet and 5th round rookie, C- Young player first time playing C in the NFL, RG- Only established solid vet, RT- Struggling rookie and rotation of back ups. How could anyone expect that much more from this group. It all revolves around the QB of course and he needs to take the biggest steps if this team is to have success.

If Jones has "it" we will be seeing it consistently week in and week out the entire 2ne half of the season and piloting one of the best offenses in the league in Dec. T0 me he has all the tools to be a top qb I've been right about a lot of things about this team both good and bad the past few years Let's hope this one more than anything I'm right about

This is the coolest I've felt all day. I got Jones. His 2nd year in the same offense will have him looking more like Daniel Marino than Daniel Jones. got lottery numbers for this week?
