Will we be the NFC LEast again? The laughing stock of the league. The division everyone is happy to play. Or will we be that smash mouth division no one wants to play? Last year as a division we won 23 games. Three other divisions won 23 games with just their top two teams lol. The AFC North won 38 games as a division.
So how many wins will this division have this year?

I like the 26-30 range 10,9,7,4 I think this division will be much better than last year. Dallas still has a very good offense. Washington has a very good defense. We should be well balanced on both sides. The Eagles look to be the worst.

I also think the div will be better than last year, and see the combined wins in the low 30's.

after thinking about it I really couldnt careless about the rest of the NFCE.
For me it all about the NYGs. Assuming no major injuries they need to have at least 10 wins. If that wins the div then great if it doesnt then thats fine too. Its all about wins this season and 10 is a nice number.

Too many things change year by year to be thankful our rebuild finally took a small step forward in year 4. Give me the playoffs. I don't consider anything else a success at this point. Too many other teams who were in the same spot as us 4 years ago are winning now. Browns, Cards, Colts, Dolphins, Bucs.... Its time to put up or shut up. No more oh well at least we tried seasons. Thats just my opinion anyway.

We should be well balanced on both sides. The Eagles look to be the worst. This is my thinking exactly. If we say the top 3 teams average 9 wins each with the Eagles winning say 7. So even if I'm 3 or 4 off it still falls between 30-38. That's what I voted for.

Every year I consider the Super Bowl success and anything else failure. Sure winning 14 games was probably a hoot for Chiefs fans...but I bet they'd trade that for 9 wins and the Super Bowl.
As for those other teams. The Browns had 1 winning year since 07, it happened to be last year. The Cards haven't had a winning year since 2015. The Colts were never as bad as us and only had the one bad year (2017) since 2011. The Dolphins have 2 winning seasons since 2008, last year was the first in 4 years. The Bucs were a trash team until they signed Tom Brady so not much of a fair comparison.
My point in saying all that is we had 3 losing seasons in a row (2013-2015) and then won 11 games, then we went back to losing again. None of those teams you mentioned have put together more than 1 winning season in a row at this point. No reason to be jealous of them (other than the Bucs obviously). If we have a winning season this year I guarantee this board will be filled with posts about "even a blind squirrel, we have to do it again" ect.

I see this division be a tough one this year and we won't have an easy path to the division title.

You are making my point. All those teams were in the dumps 4 years ago, and made the right moves to get on top/ become a playoff team. Its the Giants turn. If they dont this year, its time to make big moves again. I would keep Judge, but thats all Id keep outside of a few notable young players on rookie deals.

I get your point but I just disagree that these teams made the right moves and are on top. They aren't anymore on top than we were in 2016. In fact most of those teams have a history of sucking and then being good for 1 year and then sucking again.
I agree though we should expect more from our Giants. I'll hold my opinion on changes needed until I see the team play.

Of those 5 teams, who didnt make the right moves? Who do you think sucks in 2021? Browns have slowly built a solid foundation of a team. With playmakers all over. And the coaching staff is much better. GM too. I see them being solid in 2021. They made great moves the past 4 years to get where they are. They were 0-16 in 2017. Cardinals made some ballsy yet very good moves too. Letting Rosen go and drafting Murray was obviously the right move. Now they got Hopkins. Great move. The new HC was a solid move. All pointing the team into the right direction. Colts, they lost their star QB in Luck, had one wobbly year, and made some great moves to get them back into the mix. Rivers was a very good move for them last year. He kept them in contention and got them to the playoffs at 11-5. Wentz? Well, we will see. They finished 4-12 in 2017. Dolphins have made huge strides. I dont like Tua as their QB but obviously they didnt need him much since the rest of the team was built up. I expect them to compete again for the AFCE crown. Solid coaching. Bucs, well they made the biggest moves of all. And it wasn't just Brady, that team loaded up with talent at every position. They were a shitty team for a long time, and the past couple of years really created a dynamic team with the exclamation point last year. I see them winning the NFCS again. Although its hard to predict given injuries happen, I dont think any of these teams are 1 year wonders. I think they all have a good shot in 2021 to make the playoffs again. We can add the Jags and Panthers to the list too. If these teams make their strides this year, and we dont, time to move on IMO. Other teams get built up, dismantled, and built back up again while we stay in idle. This year has to be playoffs.

Let's just book mark this so we can come back and visit. You think the Browns, Cards, Dolphins, Bucs, Jags and Panthers all made the right moves and will have sustained success.
My guess is half those teams won't make the playoffs this year.

Ha! Thats not what I said. I said they made the right moves and the result was 2020. I do think most of those teams (minus the jags and panthers since they still may be a year or 2 away) will be successful if there are no major injuries to key players, which of course always plays a part. I do think those original 5 though will be playoff contenders if so. No one can predict the future. Especially in the NFL. I just hope the Giants can talk about the success they had like those 5 teams had in 2020.

I want to be the Chiefs not the Browns. We need to have success because we need success, not because the Browns and Cardinals found success for one year. If you call 8-8 success anyway.
I think we have made the right moves too. So now we wait and see. Question though. Can their moves be the right moves if they don't have another winning season? Are they the right moves if they don't win a SB? Just wondering where the line is for you to say they were the right moves.

If they don't have results house cleaning might happen the coach has the players he wanted the GM drafted them and procured them in free agency. Like I said all rebuilds are not the same. The Colts had several pieces in place and weren't down long the Browns fired the guy who got them a huge draft haul for 2018 and helped build a pretty solid defense. The Giants have 3 complete years in at the end of this season it will be 4. I think Judge/ Gettlemen know this might be it for them if the team doesn't produce. Either way Gettlemen or the next GM and coach are set up pretty nice kind of like the Browns were in 2018 plenty of draft capital solid roster one year of tight cap then it opens up again in 2022.

Not trying to recover from 9 years of bottom 5 drafting.

LOL some where around 2013/ 2014 the Giants joined them as bottom 3 of the abyss lol. Unfortunately they made the playoffs then seemed to be more inept then they were before, if they were only competitive after words I agree 100%. This is a big year for the GM and coach year 4 can't be a non competitive 7-10 team if it is all bets are off the roster will stay but all bets are off for GM / coach/ QB.
