You’re preaching to the choir. Our offensive line is an injury away from being in shambles. The elephant in the room is our line. If our season goes South, it most certainly will be in part to our line. Sounds familiar... just another year as a NYG fan. Watch the OL implode and ruin a season. Thanks Dave. The one thing he was supposed to do was get us our hog mollies set. Rome was built faster. Hog mollies.. So far, they have been guppies

We are thin at a lot of positions.
Our team looks solid at a lot of positions with starters, but we can't afford injuries at many of those positions.....especially on the O line.

Hopefully the coaching and practice rounds have improved them as much as some people think or want to believe. Personally, I need to see them play consistently good (or even average) in a few real games to believe they have turned the corner from last year. Great news about Rudolph though, based on some posts I never thought we’d see him back this quick.

KG not at the "end" of his career though. I know. Age wise, I agree. But he gets banged up a lot. I expect him to be more Burress than Marshall but he's got to stay healthy. Well combined, Adore Jackson and Kenny Golladay played 8 games last year. These were our 2 huge signings in the off season. Jackson is now hurt, who really knows how badly, and Golladay hasn't seen much of the practice field.
Those signings were exciting, but also very risky.

In KG's defense, it's really only last year he missed a lot of time. The prior two years he played 16 and 15. Regardless, you're right, like anyone else, availability is the first thing.

Maybe all my optimism has been crushed by years of losing....but I remember thinking that adding Brandon Marshall in 2017 was going to be huge for us in the red zone. It turned out that he was at the end of his career and he was essentially done. I fear the same is true with Kyle Rudolph. I hope I'm wrong and will be very happy to be proven so. But it does feel like Deja Vu to me. I agree I hope he proves me wrong also . But we do not do good with the 30 something FAs . It seems to me all they are doing is collecting their last paycheck.

This is really positive news! Rudolph wont be out 6 weeks as some predicted. just goes to show you cant believe everything you read in the media. The New York Post and Daily News are trash papers not much better then a tabloid like the National Inquirer...

How long does it take to get a capable Oline and some depth? 10 years? 15 yrs?? Back to Rudolph.... it's good that his time table moved up. No sense of rushing him when other guys can play. He will come in handy when he is ready.
