He could not play any better. Last night he was the guy we drafted
Jason Garret called a great game.
Shepard, Rudolph and a reconstructed o-line came to play.
The rest of the team were on a zoom call.

This is why I blocked this idiot He will run to the mods and report your post BTW.... Oh god, are we really getting into this again? Let me save this thread from this conversation: - I never reported him and never would report anyone over a message board. He's insane - He blocked me because for 5 years I said the Giants suck, Jones sucks, and SQB was a terrible pick. I also called him mean names and attacked his schtick of "using logic and reason" - Despite my best efforts to prove I didn't report him because I'm not a 10 year old girl on twitter, there is nothing that can be done other than ADMINS saying who did, or at least saying I didn't (because I didn't) - You can either believe the guy with the tin foil hat who has me blocked, or the guy who is here ready to argue and fight with you after getting called dumb etc, up to you. It's a message board, say what you want. To the post at hand, what do you call the play calling from the 20 after the INT? A franchise QB is given the ball to win the game. Jones wasn't.Has it occurred to you that maybe the conservative play calls at the end of the game speaks more to their concern about the Oline giving up strip sacks than about their faith in the QB who was playing well and who has thrown very few ints. lately? Is that possible?

What Are Your Thoughts On Daniel Jones’s Performance Tonight vs Washington? Jones had a great game. He and Sterling were the only real performers in that game. The defense was a dumpster fire. Heck even the Oline did an okay job. Golladay looks like a total waste of money. Did first round pick Toney run away and join the circus? Judge is garbage and Garrett even worse.

He was stellar. The defense was trash if they held on to some balls it would have even been better hopefully he can start to play like this consistently.

I though Jones played quite well, perhaps his best game as a pro. If he can do that consistently, QB will not be our problem, and we have plenty of other problems to deal with. Let's see if he can keep it going week in/week out.

We should have scored over 40 on a really good defense. There's just too many issues mentally throughout the team. Drops, untimely penalties, mental lapses, etc. If there is a way to lose, the Giants will find it.

Is that possible? It was the same Oline that all game they was giving Jones time. They were doing well. And if a strip sack was the concern, that's a Jones special so that still falls on him if that was their big concern. Either way. We all saw the defense leading to that moment. If you have a franchise QB you don't let that defense protect your lead. They chose to not give it to Jones for the win and pray for a miracle instead.

That is why the brought Golladay here he needs to be that guy or Shep, Slayton nothing against him but that is 2 drops one last week that would have moved the chains and now this, I think If EE can play some clean ball when he returns and Barkely was a little better this week they can be scary. They need to learn how to win. I don't talk about that missed opportunity early for a fieldd goal penalty and a sack knocked them out of Range because the WFT has something to do with that, The drop and tick tack holding call and Lawrence encroachment were gifts they were plays the WFT had nothing to do with.

So, by your logic, what you are saying is the Oline was playing well so the Giants weren’t concerned. Then why the concern over the QB who was playing well? Sorry man, can’t have it both ways. You could be right. Or I could be right when I say you don’t know what they were thinking.

Hanging 40 on a defense like Washington's is excellent, unfortunately we didn't do it. Jones did everything he could to reach that score though. I put exactly 0% of the blame on him for last night. To be honest, his only 'bad play' was the fumble against Denver. He's been solid so far. The offense has taken a ton of the flak for the slow start this year, but it's mostly the defense that has underperformed. They look like a completely different unit than they did last season. I don't know if Graham had his eyes on upcoming HC vacancies, but he better turn this around or his phone isn't going to ring this offseason.

how do you know they didn’t trust him??Maybe it was a conservative playcalling did you ever think of that? Still an asinine post And why would a coaching staff call conservative plays there if they think they have a franchise caliber QB, especially after he was tearing up the skins for most the game? Especially after the defense was getting abused all game? If the contention is that Judge is completely incompetent I'll buy that line of reasoning, but everything about Jones' past performances, other than this game (and his other games vs the skins) leads me to believe they were afraid to let him air it out and win the game. It’s cool. No one here needs to explain their projections.

After the game was over, I went upstairs and my wife asked how the game was...I told her the Giants perfectly executed all the things bad teams need to do to lose.
