Lots of details, Garrett and Jones haters will love the critical tone. Looks like a good channel to learn the Xs and Os in football though.
Warner was a bit off when he said Zach Wilson "looked ready for prime time" after the preseason. 5+ INTs 2 weeks later.

Doesn't look like our guys are running routes that gets them open. Wish we would run more picks/slants as well as crossing routes deep instead of just straight ahead go routes.

The initial scripted plays to start the Washington game were awesome to watch. There was movement pre-snap, Jones was rolling outside of the pocket, we were aggressive......then we we had to adjust on the fly, in game. And we simply reverted back to being conservative.
Offensively, I'm expecting another hot start for us. We just need to keep it going for 60 minutes. On defense, I expect our DB's to play much closer to the LOS. If I see another 10 yard cushion by our CB's and another 20 yard cushion by our Safeties, I'll cry.

Very intriguing how some of the routes are pointless. Doesn't generate misdirection or attention.
Some of the plays called/routes run seems to designate a receiver pre snap. What I'm not seeing are routes run based on timing. Where the quarterbacks progression is timed up with the route.
Idk, Jones threw some bad balls as outlined but in many instances, he only had one receiver to even consider.
He also doesnt lead receivers, though I know he was under pressure but on some occasion he has just got to let the receiver run to the ball.
Hopefully we will continue to build off of the second half performance.

Let's play more aggressive and see how good our backend is

The difference between winning and losing the game was a pussy call by JG or JJ. Not sure which was responsible
Every fan knows they should have thrown it into the end zone on the first play after the interception.
Trying not to lose is different than trying to win. This team is trying not to lose.

Hopefully we will continue to build off of the second half performance. A couple of things I took away from this. Is that maybe the receivers are getting separation but the ball placement is wrong or too tight. The other thing is Warner has the benefit of all 22 when he was drawing up his plays so he knows what the defense is doing already. However some of his tips do make sense on play design.

This team is trying not to lose. If it was between JJ and Garret. I would pick JJ being more conservative. Garret usually went for the win his days coaching the cowboys. Put in Romo's or Dak's hands to win. It's the QB in him.

Hard to be that critical of our offense after last week. I love all the details and breakdown but just seems like poor timing. We put up 29 and left at least another 8 on the field.

The best part was seeing DJ take command of that offense. I hope it is not an aberration. I hope really hope Garret's offense finally clicked for him. Atlanta is a good test.

That was disappointing to watch..
After watching some Baldy stuff you can see Golladay open down field but the ball goes to a blanketed Shepard instead..

I agree, if DJ can play at that level consistently, we'll be ok.

Not so much scheme, play design seems to be a big issue making it much easier for the defense a few tweaks and it could be much better Ones seems mostly timing and couple recognition type plays, excellent breakdown.

I checked out after 15 minutes once I was certain we had reconfirmed the roundness of the earth.
I’d be interested in where the weekly league averages are for these items. My gut tells me they’re pretty much consistent with this review.

This is what it comes down to. Jones was a drop and a bad holding call from having possibly the QB performance of week 2.

Thanks for posting.
That's pretty much what the Giants look like. An OC and QB that are just OK.

Thanks for posting. That's pretty much what the Giants look like. An OC and QB that are just OK. They were both better than ok against a good defense last Thursday 1 game out of the past 17…I’ll give them credit when they do it 10 weeks in a row. Week 1 they were were not good. It’s like a hitter hitting 1 home run every 100 at bats and calling themselves a home run hitter.

I didn’t even bother to watch the video. I’m here to give props to a man who once bagged groceries. To become a super bowl champion, and well deserved hall of famer. When someone says don’t dream big, spit in their eye.

Exactly.. However, should these tweaks already be incorporated thus the incompetence of garrett🤔
