the same small posse of fans are just bickering to fill a void. Their position has already be derailed and how we wish they were correct and we were wrong. We all want the Giants to win but when we see the faults and others are claiming otherwise, like they see something we don’t see, they had better be correct after posting non-stop all offseason. At 0-2, their in a hole yet keep digging. To claim they know what they’re looking at, ahhh, be honest with yourselves rather than trying to convince us of a delusion . . or a lie. Lol Don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone here knows full well that the collective football knowledge of all posters to football boards is just about equal to some guy with a show on channel 4887 at 3am called Egbert's Guide to the NFL. And of course his father owns the station which is how he got his show. speak lowly for yourself if you like while i’m certain others don’t share the same dinghy. If this sport was so complicated a bunch of neurosurgeons would be playing on Sundays rather than these basket weaving majors.

Giants were under the gun they had 2 OLs under contract and 0 tackles Solder was the best one in freeagncy, this what happens when you draft like crap for years. As much as I hated Flowers, Ray Charles could see we were rebuilding. I would have rather kept Flowers, who actually never led the league in sacks IIRC like Solder did, rather than overpay for an average to slightly above average tackle when we had so many other areas of concern as well. Solder is still a tackle flowers was never staying there he is in his seventh year and on his 5th team as a guard sometimes the answers just aren't there, you do the best you can with what available Solder took a massive pay cut if he gives this team what he did against WFT then he is a Bargain this year, To be honest I have wanted to tear this mess apart since about 2014 and I'm glad they are younger and hopefully they will be better this year then they were last year after the next 15 games, Solder had a tall task coming in switching positions off a year away, everyone forgets Flowers and Bobby Hart refused to play the last game of 2017 sighting injuries even tho they were cleared glad he's gone. If Solder called out every time he wasn't healthy the team would have been Screwed same with Thomas last year.

like 2,4-D, dicamba has a residual the dead money from parting ways with OBJ hurt the Giants well beyond. Years later and despite the OL still not fixed, Dave turns attention to receivers by borrowing a ton of future cap space for Gollaway and then #1 for Toney who, we’re not sure what he’s doing. The case just gets stronger and stronger! Question is why are the Giants one of 15 teams that are said to be in good capstanding from 2023 through the next 3 years after that, they will have a tight cap in 2022. the capologists keep coming with the hits. Lets see what the record is at the end of this year, then our GM section can make a decision on Getty's and Judges futures here.

Like ice hockey, i think those Giants may have spoken back to their coach on occasion yet never yelled back at Parcells. We would all like to believe that but you will not ever know for sure or convince me it did not happen and I find it highly unlikely it never happened. It is human nature and things happen. Simms used to tell Parcels to shove it where the sun don't shine.

While I'm certain there's no shortage of delusional fans that like to believe that, there's simply no facts in evidence supporting it. And I never implied that the sport was complicated in any way, if it was there'd be far were fans. To drive customer engagement it needs to be incredibly simple so the sad Madden GMs can believe they're equipped to build teams with their Mr Science Jr chemistry sets at home.

Ok then, glad we’re on the same page. At least I provided something to back up reality, even if it’s joe schmo’s opinion, because he won’t find one list that has Gates as being much more than average unless it’s his own. Who cares? Apparently you because you keep interjecting yourself in the conversation.

Apparently you because you keep interjecting yourself in the conversation. Yeah, that sucks, huh? Argh! that whole freedom of speech thing on a free internet message board where anyone can reply to any dabbler's opinion with their own non professional opinion. Imagine that.

Never said anything about that either. You asked me “who cares” in reference to a post you continuously responded to. I gave you a simple answer that you did otherwise you wouldn’t be commenting on it so much. Somehow you turned that into freedom of speech and not being able to express your opinion. You’re off your game today, you should stop, that’s my non professional opinion.

If that sounds stupid, that's because it is. I wanted to remain consistent with the established theme. As one non professional to another, I'm shocked to hear that you are not enjoying the dead horse slaughtering. Imagine that.

I might still have some lingering venom from the 2014 and 2015 drafts that I may need to spew. And then there were some 2017 Practice Squad moves that really grinded my gears....

Really complex occupation to watch a film to see how a guy bends and speak to his coach about his personality. Whew, the intellect. Next thing you know he may find somebody who doesn't celebrate a first down late in the 4th when trailing by 20

I'm much happier since the Giants have changed their objective drafting criteria to include creativity in celebration of individual achievements. I'm sure that's how Toney was drafted.

Even the ones calling into that 3am ratings bonanza The statistical data bore out pretty much exactly what they talk about on that 3am show and every other football observer show. A team of monkeys with typewriters can pick a perfectly capable team from the 1% of college players that succeed in the NFL. The other 1% drafted are largely fungible with UDFAs and not surprisingly the monkey's did just as well on that piece.
