I read something a while back about Carolina willing to meet him in Texas after a family vacation and that the Giants weren't aggressive enough in attaining him as the head coach. I am going to call BS on that and just say that the 9 million per year in Carolina had pretty much everything to do with that. I wanted him as our head coach, but 9 million a year sounds pretty crazy. What do you all think?

He signed a seven-year, $60 million contract with the Panthers. I applaud the Giants for not paying an unproven coach that kind of money.

Looks like $9m a year for Rhule is way better than whatever the hell we are paying Judge per year.
Rhule is looking great. He is the reason they got Darnold too. He is making the moves the there. That was part of his requirement and why we balked. We went with Gettleman for that. Yay us.

Rhule looks like a truck driver who just got off a 16 hour shift. He was the flavor of the month coming out of Baylor. And he knew it, and got the Panthers to back the brinks truck for him. If you’re good at something, never settle for anything less than you deserve.

Sam Darnold is looking good . . . again. Jets could screw up anything yet if this continues, hmm, guess who else passed on him?

Can't believe Shaq Thompson is still around I remember when Gettlemen drafted him there, they were saying he was to small won't last should be a safety blah blah blah dudes still a pretty good backer.

Why do you guys care about how much we pay a HC? It doesn't count vs the cap. I don't give crap what they pay a HC, if they feel he is the right guy, get him. These are billion dollar organizations. $9m a year is Corn Flakes to them.
Now if we are talking personality, I get it. He came across as a dick from what I heard.

Really?

Carolina has played against the Jets, a Covid and hurricane ravaged Saints team missing half it's coaching staff and now the Texans.... I think some need to pump their brakes a bit...

Agree 100% on the coaches $'s, and I would have been more then suspect if the Giants matched that offer, before even having a face to face interview.

The best head coaches are notorious dicks. They’re in a profession where there is only 32 of them in the Country. Besides having balls of steel, you have to have an ego to match. The only ones who should complain about a head coaches salary is the owner, and the coaches wives.

I know they are 2-0 but they don't look any better then the Giants or Washington.

Agree and Winston did his pic thing, They are improved for sure and they did a good Job getting Darnold to start to reach his potential. Yea that is tough on team they aren't home for weeks 8 coaches on covid list Saints were in bad shape, not try to take anything away from them but they barely beat the Jets, good for them if they can keep the season rolling.

You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car. Granny shifting, not double clutching like you should. You're lucky that 100-shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake. Almost had me? Now me and the mad scientist are going to have to rip apart the block, and replace the piston rings you fried. Ask any racer, any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.

I rather win ugly, then lose pretty. Billy Hoyle and Sidney Dean used to argue about that. It’s not often a White men can’t jump reference gets brought up. This may be the first.. We won it all in 2011. Does anyone remember losing four in a row? Of course not, we remember Nicks destroying the Falcons. And JPP sealing the victory with a blocked field goal against Dallas. Winning masks even the most noticeable warts. And losing, magnifies them.

The Giants hopefully will get there defense together. that game the Giants left 11 points on the field that they stopped themselves Washington had nothing to do with it that would have been 40 think you are underestimating our team a bit.

If they don't get there act together I hope they do whats needed to get back on track. My biggest hope is that DJ proves he is the guy and Thomas keeps doing what he is doing and getting better. That would be big for the franchise being able to use those picks on Edge player and another Tackle and an inside LB.
