Well...good luck to them. Personally, I think the Hall of Fame lets in too many people. Either you were one of the elites of your era...or not. And there can't be 10 elites in one era.

Very, very good players. I don't know that any of them are true Hall of Famers.

I'd say Feagles should definitely get in. Landeta is a maybe.
Mitchell was an all-time great special teams player too.
Tuck could've been HOF if injuries and depression(basically) didn't derail him. He was a relentless player for a few years. Absolutely one of the best in the league at the time.
Chris Snee....how many pro bowls did he make?? He was truly one of the best guards of his era. By far. Not sure what they look for when it comes to HOF O-linemen. He played for what, 9 years? And didn't he start as a rookie too?? He was always solid. Never a weak link. In fact he was often dominant. For me he is an all-time great.

My first thought when reading it was Feagles is the one that should get in. He was a great punter, one of the best ever. Tuck was amazing but too short a career. Tiki was great but too short a career (in terms of his dominant years) and no SBs. Snee was great but judging a OG is always a crap shoot.

I don’t see it. The only full time punter in the Hall is Ray Guy. And it took him 28 years to get in. As great as Feagles was, he’s not getting in anytime soon. Only player on that list who’s deserving is Tiki.

Only player on that list who’s deserving is Tiki. I would imagine Ray Guy's long wait was a result of the negative bias football players have towards kickers and punters. That bias undoubtedly found its way to the people who cast their votes for HOF inductees. I'm not saying Feagles will get in (though I think he should), just that it might not be as hard for him now that Ray Guy has broken through that barrier. We shall see. Other than Feagles, I don't think anyone else on that list should get in. Tuck is an all time great Giant, but an all time great in the history of the league? Nah.

Most consider Ray Guy a football player. They don’t look at him as just a punter. He set the bar so high, that the next punter who gets in has to be better than that. If a punter does make it in, it should be Shane Lechler.

He only has 15400. 13259 of that is rushing yards. 12000 yard club.

The HOF voting body has everything in a neat little box.

PFF has their signature stats that they promote. One of them is "kept clean" for a QB' This stat suggests what a QB does when he is not rushed . My signature Stat will be "yards handed off for" equally ridiculous as some of stats PFF uses. Just So you know so far this year Baker Mayfield is leading the league in yards handed off for with 309 yards.

I think Tiki deserves it. It was short, but for 4-5 years he was the best RB in the game, and arguably the best 4-5 year window of any RB in NFL history. If he only held on 1 more year for 2007s ride he would be a slam dunk IMO.
Tuck is a Giants HOFer. One of my favorites.
Snee was one of the best Gs for a while, but not sure HOF material.
Feagles was solid for a while as well.
If you have to come up with reasons why they should make the HOF though, and think about it, and look up their stats and plays, they probably dont deserve it. Guys who get into the HOF should be no brainers.

I can say honestly I’ve never heard of “kept clean” ever. Well, not true. As we clean the house, the word clean and kept are said. Just, not together. Tom Brady is having a great year. Is he in the top five of “kept clean”?

Any QB that cannot get it done without pressure . Well we both no the answer to that. So they make stats up to make fans pay for their hubbub.

He was top 5 during his last 4 to 5 seasons and best rb at most 1 or 2 seasons. I'm a huge Tiki fan and his lack of overall touchdowns is one of the main reasons why he's not getting in. He's Marshall Faulk lite and that's not a bad thing. Unfortunately in my opinion he's borderline but falls short of Canton.

Whatever happened to “that was a good play” or, “did you see that interception?” Now, some eggheads took the game we love and turned it into a biology class. When you have to make up a new stat to further your warped narrative. You know you lost.. I’m still trying to figure out how they grade offensive lineman. Unless, they know the play call. And what the players responsibility is. It’s all pure guessing.

But the media and Giants fans hate him.....so he has no chance. It's a popularity contest.
The best punter in Giants history is Dave Jennings, and he'll never get in. Punters have to be all time great to be HOF'rs. You folks are dreaming if you thnk Feagles is getting in to the HOF.

Tiki is an absolute hall of famer in my opinion. He has one of the best 3 years stretches for any running back in NFL history. And was solid to good for 4 years before that.

It’s a crime that Lomas is still waiting on that call. Everyone always said Barry Sanders ran behind a terrible offensive line. That is a boldface lie, having Lomas at your left tackle and Kevin Glover at center is a hell of a duo.

Since terrel Davis got in then I do feel those three great years help make Tiki deserving. I still hate the fumbling selfish asswipe.

I think tiki should get in. He didn't play that long at least at the time but I think RB careers have gotten even shorter so he may have just been ahead of the curve.
