There, don't you feel better now? Better to be positive than negative! I know you're being sarcastic, but at least pretending to be positive is better than being negative. Wrong username to be preaching all this positive stuff.. LOL when I still lived in CT we went to every game where I sat we were all friends. There was this one guy he was about 4'6" tall and he would spew the whole game nasty crap, we used to call him angry man lol. Some of Vinnie posts remind me of angry man he isn't happy with the state of the team thats for sure.

The Ravens had the #1 run defense in 2008. (November 16th) We put up 200 yards + rushing on them . If the game plan is not flawed all defenses are beatable. www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/rav/2008.htmWe played to kill the Ravens that day. No more excuses on why we lose. Our Couching staff plays not to lose . It does not play to win (killer instinct). If we do not game plan to kill the opponent. Winning will be a tenuous endeavor. I was there and saw Brandon Jacobs run over Ray lewis on three different occasions at least, it was one of the more satisfying wins out side of our own division I had witnessed a true beat down physically mentally in every way possible. Truly dominating the man the team across the LOS at every level, it's one of the few outer division regular season games that seems like yesterday to me.

We are playing prevent football on both sides of the ball This only prevents the team from being relevant by week 4 We can stay in the game . If that is the objective . We are doing great. But we are not winning too many with that philosophy. What we deserve as a long suffering fan base is the old Giants way, kick the door down stomp there face on the way through it and take the game and the opponents confidence.

I would hate to use another word for solid or I will be banned. Legacy is awesome, I love reading his posts, they make me laugh in a good way, I’m amazed at how well he knows the Giants and how in touch he is with the team as a whole. I can’t say enough good things about him. I actually don’t give his posts enough likes, I’ll work on that. I think the Giants will win out. You’re right, week 17 will be different. I have no idea how I become so disillusioned and thought we wouldn’t make the playoffs. We jst need to knock the rust off, we’re almost there. The NFCE are about to see who this team really is and shock the NFL. I had David Gettleman all wrong, he has done a fantastic job with this roster, it’s just the players need more time to gel. I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised to see 6-8 Pro Bowlers on this team by week 17. Go Giants! There, don't you feel better now? Better to be positive than negative! I know you're being sarcastic, but at least pretending to be positive is better than being negative. Not really because I can’t pretend to be positive only to be let down by reality, it’s better for me when I keep things in perspective whether they be positive or negative so I’m not let down when disaster hits, or in this case the Giants continue losing with a few wins here and there. Just two different outlooks.

Vinnie *&^%ING have a snickers or something, no one said it was gonna be better just different like Denve probably will not be the #1 defense Different, the Giants are what they are the worst team in football and were trading downward since mid 2012 and finally hit rock bottom in 2017. No one is hidden from that, easy my man. So what’s going to be so different by week 17? I’m just trying to be positive here buddy, I thought it might help my overall well being.

The Saints have the 31st worst passing yards per game, the Giants are 17th. Garrett > Sean Payton. Our defense should feast on Winston, Giants by 13-17.

I don’t think there’s a pass defense in the league that can consistently stop all 3 of them AND Barkley when they’re on the field at the same time. It will be magical. Over the next 14 games, David Gettleman is about to show everyone why he’s the best GM in the league.

Thanks Mike, before your boy Legacy blindly likes your post, I’d like to point out Washington has the 29th ranked defense and Atlanta has the 30th ranked defense. Thanks for bringing Denvers defensive stats to our attention, I have a feeling you didn’t your DD before creating this thread otherwise you wouldn’t have. Did the Chiefs, Seahawks and Steelers play 2 of the 4 worst defenses in the league? No, no they didn’t. So what’s your point? My point is absolutely none of this was predictable. The NFL is a crazy league. I'm not sure why you and "your boys" are reading into this like I was trying to make a statement about us and our record. Have you ever known me to be the type not to come out and say "the Giants are great mother ****ers"? Hell just the other day I say we will still win 10 games lol. I am not the subtle sneaky type.
In 3 weeks the NFL will probably look completely different than it does now, that could include the Broncos having #1 ranked D and it could include us racing the Jets to the bottom and it could include the Seahawks looking like smashed ass.

The Broncos have the #1 defense and are tied for first in the NFL with the Raiders, Cardinals and Panthers. The Chiefs, Seahawks and Steelers have one more win than we do. The Bucs didn't go 17-0...or even 3-0.
Three weeks in the NFL is an eternity. Just 3 weeks ago none of this would have been believable.
The Broncos have played the Giants Jets and Jags. Combined record of 0-10. 2 rookies QBs and Daniel Jones. That is all true, but it changes nothing about what I posted.

The Broncos have also faced the Giants, jets and Jags. The 24th, 26th and 32nd ranked offenses. But it is a long season and there’s a long way to go. Hopefully for the Giants they can turn the trend around of starting 1-7 or 2-11… Yep absolutely. I posted the Broncos because I was shocked to see them with the #1 D no matter who they faced. You never know what will happen in the NFL.

Didn’t you already respond to my post you just quoted? I may very well be wrong but it would be odd if you responded to the same post twice, several hours apart. I respectfully disagree, this was all very predictable until they took the field. I’m quite sure I was told our offense would be better due to the new weapons, another year under Garrett, a full off season, new O line coaches, no longer having a rookie coach, and having Barkley back. Pretty sure I was told our defense could only improve because players don’t regress, we added new “weapons” on defense and it would be Grahams second year as DC. I’m pretty sure a lot of people confidently said we would make the playoffs based on everything I just stated. It was all easily predictable Mike which is why you bet me the Giants would win 3 of their first 5 games. Having said that, I did some deep soul searching (and found out I’m soulless) but came to the conclusion I’ve been wrong about this team for the past several years, especially this off season. We’ve just been dealt a bad hand. We have a Super Bowl roster, NFCE title winner at least, and our players and coaches just had a little hiccup. Gettleman has set this team and roster up to succeed with the top contenders in the league but due to some unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances, we’ve struggled a bit. There’s not a doubt in my mind that if the refs didn’t screw us, if Toney showed up for OTA’s and wasn’t hurt, if Golladay wasn’t hurt, if Gates wasn’t hurt and if we still had Lemieux than we would be 3-0, going on 4-0. Those teams that beat us wouldn’t stand a chance, nor would most teams in the league. I have full confidence that DG will acquire the best FA’s or practice squad players available to get us back in the playoff hunt. Judge has been misjudged, he had very good rationale for calling the games the way he did and throwing the challenge flags when he did. It was just a series of bad breaks. Starting this weekend that will change and the rest of the league will dread seeing us on their schedule. We’ve been the laughing stock of the league for years but that’s about to change. I’m not saying we’ll win the Super Bowl, or even get there, but it will be nice to finally see us back in the playoffs this year and make a legit run. I apologize for laughing at you when you said you thought Judge and Gettleman needed another 4-5 years of working together for us to give them a fair chance at succeeding. Looking back, I probably thought it was so funny because I’m thinking 4-5 years will seem like an eternity after this season and most of us will be laughing at ourselves for saying they needed that long when they’ll prove how successful they can be by the end of this season.

not to make excuses for the gmen (like i have to for stinking up the place), but the broncos might be the most overlooked team in the nfl, theyre very strong They are overlooked because of the QB and the division they play in. Teddy B. has always been a solid tier 2 Qb. Injuries has been a setback to his career but that dude kept pushing and is reaping the benefits. As long as he stays upright he will keep the broncos in the playoff race all year.
