A lazy player learning a playbook. Might as well give a chimp the bar exam. I remember I wanted Thomas and Wilson with our first 2 picks last year I think I said Bulldog bookends. Seeing what Wilson has done since he has been drafted. He is either really immature or super stupid. I hope it is maturity because the other is unfixable. The talent is there. It’s what he has between his ears is a concern. Football is not only a power of wills, but a mental struggle. You’re playing a mans game that can humble you real quick. It’s no longer a bunch of talented kids putting pads on and beating their College rivals. It’s a business, where the owners invest a lot of money and time into. Having a strong support group should help. Maybe, and I’m being generous. He felt like a big fish out of water in Tennessee. He’s on his last favor. If he wants to prolong his dream of playing in the league. He has to put work in, and showcase why he was drafted in the 1st round.

Seems like he's trying to atone. He acknowledged his jackassery and expressed a desire to change. I hope he can. Check out his Mea Culpa below:
Dear World,
Some of you may know me as GG, some of you may know me as Panda, even some of you know me as the biggest bust in NFL history. Today I write to you as Isaiah Wilson. Before the fame and the glamour, I was just a kid trying to make history as the best player out of New York City. I was the hope for my hood. As time went on and success came my way I struggled deeply with trying to prove who I was to every one counting on my wins. I lost myself. I lost my mental. I lost my ability to love. I lost it all. When I lost , seemingly everyone who once was in my corner, was gone. The ones that have remained, I love you. Today I write to you as Isaiah Wilson, not asking for forgiveness, but hoping for a second chance. With the time I’ve had away from the game I learned so much about who I am as a human. I finally love myself and it feels incredible. I now am ready to step back on that field with pride , integrity, and passion. Thank you to everyone who hasn’t left my side, I’ll never forget you and to the ones who ran away, I forgive you. I’m back and better than ever. Let’s go!

I know it’s asking a lot of the young man from my hometown but I really hope he’s learned his lesson because he is very talented.

What’s the deal with practice squad…can they be pulled up anytime? If the Giants wanted to elevate him for the game tomorrow…can they? Wilson is a powerful dude. I’d love to see him at guard at least one game before he gets released, picked up, or just leaves the team. Curious to see this team with a truly powerful guard. He was a young kid who ****ed up. He's out of football shape. He want's to come back and the giants are giving him a chance. He's going to have to work to make this work he's currently out of football shape and a year removed from football. He's still basically a rookie. He's got a lot to overcome and based on his characters past its unlikely he does overcome it, but I"m rooting for him. Kids do stupid shit, esp considering their environment. sometimes it takes a little longer for others to mature.

I suspect he will be on a very short leash. I am always for giving people a chance to clean up their act if they are also comitted. At some point you got to cut bait, and to me that would be one more screwup. On a side note, how the hell does Gordon get so many chances? He's gotta have pics/video of Goodell with 2 naked female midgets. Guy's a POS but it's not called the National felons league for nuthin.

Wilson has never been the same since they pulled him from ocean after all those days adrift.

Really, that's speaking on his past?? Show me 1 post where you are "rooting" for the best. You're 1 of the most negative posters on here, so I really expect nothing less No need to be a condescending ass I root for Jones, I have supported Barkley till I couldn’t no more. I gave credit to Nick Gates, and Shane Lemieux when half the fan base shitted on Lemieux. I gave Shurmur credit till he no longer deserved it. Have backed Jason Garrett longer than anyone here. Supported Judge, and last gave credit to Gettleman on many occasions. So, there you have it. I debunked your lazy rebuttal. You want to cherry pick a members post, at least do your homework. And this team has been awful for a long time, if this was the Chiefs, you would have a valid point. More losses than any team in the league since ‘17 gives even the slightest optimism more doubt. Most negative posters? Wake the **** up.. Half the fan base is negative. What are you sleep walking when your log in? OK, I was talking about your feelings towards signing Wilson to the practice squad, not your feelings towards the team... Jeez you're so sensitive And way more than half of our fan base is negative, we have been on a steady downward spiral for a while now, worst team record over the past 4yrs or so it's understandable?? Sleep walking while posting?? No, more like intoxicated while posting LOL

I hope he has come around and this post makes it sound like he realizes how much he ****ed up and what a big opportunity he has. ....And it would be nice to have a adequate RT
