Probably not, but strange things have happened and the Bucs have not been playing all that well the last couple of games(they did have 5 sacks last game though).

His first big win was against the Bucs.
But I mean come on. Tampa has had this game circled as their opportunity to right the ship and get back on track. They’ll obliterate the Giants. JPP will probably go off too just to make it crystal clear just how dumb the Giants are.

After he blew his fingers off in a contract year the Giants did all they could for him and even gave him another contract. The Giants have their problems no need to make stuff up.

I thought at the time it made sense to trade him but given how terrible the Giants pass rush has been, how the 3rd rounder was completely wasted, and that JPPs contract became increasingly more of a bargain, I wish he had remained a Giant. Not sure what people are reading into my post. My point was the Giants don’t look too smart for trading JPP given how useful he could have been here. It’s not like he wanted out.

If he did that in a Giants jersey. He would of had his own appreciation thread, with the key to the City.

The Giants had multiple chances to win that game but found every way possible to lose, JPP wasn't one of them. After making a bunch of dumb threats during the week about "destroying us", the officiating was a bigger factor.

I don't necessarily have a problem with them trading JPP at the time because the Giants were in rebuild mode. Unfortunately for us, that process has taken an eternity it seems.

Did you forget how he played in the game last year? Like I said, the refs were a bigger factor. I always liked JPP, but he hardly "destroyed" us in that game.

We traded away a Bentley for a box of Ross Perot for President bumper stickers. The Giants brain fart thought trading away good players would benefit us in the near future. Fast forward three years later, JPP has another ring to match his four fingers. And we are dusting off our back to back participation trophies.

Your post to me anyway made it seem like JPP had a vendetta of some sorts with the Giants and that trading him was dumb. If I misunderstood I apologize.

I thought it was a good move at the time but then Getty decided they didn't need to replace him just like OBJ and that has proven to be a terrible move..

0-7 but last 4 losses have been by 3pts each I believe. I think we need to come out with a "this is gonna be a shootout" type game mindset & that Judge should be aggressive with the O & attack with no huddles, keep TB D from making subs, spread SB out as a WR, do some jet sweeps with KD, have EE heavily involved in the pass game. On D, play man & pressure the living crap outta Brady. We win 31-27

DJ's 2 picks vs TB last yr & the ref's non PI call on the 2 pt conversion attempt to tie the game last yr also cost us the TB game.

The Giants have always had an issue with primetime games. It's not just a DJ problem. Except for the last 2 SB runs, we have always come out and taken a big dump on national TV. I don't expect any different this Monday

DJ should be 2-0 this year if not for the offside penalties (Skins and the Chiefs}. Last time I checked this was a team sport. Please think these things carefully before you post. I think it’s shallow thinking to pin the record on one guy.

Heinicke had an 80% completion and a rating of 110 against the Bucs. Surely the 6th overall pick can at least match a guy that was sitting in a classroom less than a year ago.
