At half time, 12/14 for 175 yards, one TD and no picks and the team is up by 14 points on the road and yet there are many complaining in the game day thread that he is missing wide open TD passes which goes to prove that when you bring a certain bias to the game, you are not going to let it go easily.

problem is, most fans think pass progression goes from best player to worst player. That's not how it works. Cover 1 and man coverage, expect the outside WRs to be first reads, cover 2 expect the middle of the field to be the first read.
Homework: look at the "missed TD to OBJ" what coverage do you see presnap?
This leads into my opinion on why fans like scrambling/off timing QBs. At that point, its playground football and easier for fans to process. See open man, throw to open man.

Wow, Eli is throwing laser beams & is 12-14 for 175yds 1TD in the 1st half, some of you seemed shocked at this? This is what he can do on a weekly basis when given decent pass pro & enough time to go thru his progressions. The OL won the battle of the trenches in the 1st half, that's why both the run game & passing attack are working & they put up more pts in 1 half than they did in their previous 2 games. It's not rocket science people, give Eli time & he will shred any D in the NFL. Opposing DCs & defenses know this, why do you think they try to get to him in less than 2 seconds? Benching Flowers was 2 games overdue as we might be 2-0 if Wheeler is the starting RT in the Jags/Boys games.
