Somehow Judge managed to be worse than either, of course he felt the full brunt of DG's poor management, but fell on his own sword.

Judge wins because of his results. But this trio is just too close to call. I disliked McAdoo the most.

McAdoo was the biggest dick head, but he also got us to the playoffs and 11-5 in one of his seasons. I voted Shurmur. I thought he was just so freaking bad as a HC it was unbelievable. Shurmur had a much better roster to play with. And he didn't have the pandemic his first year in.. Judge a close second though. Then Mac.

I voted McAdoo because he decided that it was better to get a closer look at Geno Smith at the expense of Eli.
We all knew that it was time to find Eli's successor but Geno F. Smith?
I could have lived with taking a look at the rookie QB but Smith had no future as a starter in the NFL but McAdoo wanted to flex his muscles.
What a freaking loser.

Pat Shurmur had a worse 2-year record than Joe Judge. They were the second and third worst head coaches in Giants history by win percentage.

according to the polling each coach was worse than the last. ...I think that says a lot.

MacAdoo total dick for what he did to Eli; plus that red hoodie sweat suit a real flaming a-hole
Schumur, wheels coming off during a game and he had that classic deer in headlights look about him and you knew it was beond him
Judge talked right tough guy stuff but then it became excuses and he just added fuel to the fire with the 11 minute tirade and that QB sneak both just bizzare actions by an HC that just needed to finish out the season but he could not contain his BS. Not good resume builders.

Pat Shurmur had a worse 2-year record than Joe Judge. They were the second and third worst head coaches in Giants history by win percentage. Shurmur had 9 wins to Judge's 10. He also had a rookie QB and inherited bigger a mess from the previous staff. Judge had the benefit of aggressive spending of nearly $400M in free agency, with the Giants signing several big name free agents. Shurmur and McAdoo were forgettable. Judge's failures will haunt him his entire career.

Last two coaches were hired by Gettleman while he took a parting shot at Mac. Gettleman fan club has shiat, not dirt, on their face

Shurmur would have won more games with a second and third year Jones then Judge did. Even with the injuries. I donāt doubt it.
Neither great, but Shurmur better.

In no way am I saying judge was a great coach but itās a bit ironic that garret and judge got fired while the guy who was 90% responsible for the crap players on this team got to ā retireā. Thereās not a coach in the league that could be successful with our collective group of players we have on offense..

I say Shurmer. At least the Giants had one winning season and a trip to the playoffs with McAdoo. Plus, Judge and McAdoo were first-time head coaches, Shurmer already had a long resume of losing more games than he won as a HC when the Giants hired him.

I picked McAdoo by accident but Judge and that 3rd and 9 Victory Formation may have cost him his job, that was SO BAD
Friends and Family Members who knows I'm a huge Giants fans was laughing at me sending Retweets of it...
I posted "Blow It Up!" after this play in the Gameday Thread...Embarrassing! Judge will never recover for that like Mark Sanchez never recovered from the Butt Fumble lol

Looking back on it, Shurmur should have been allowed a third year. It may have been bad, but at least the Giants were competitive and Jones looked pretty good. Judge was a complete and total mistake.

Agreed. Our roster was really weak in 2019 and yet we won two of our last three and averaged over 31 points/game in those final games.

That was a hail mary to save his job. He knew he was getting fired so he took a shot. Had Geno outplayed Eli he could of pointed to being forced to play Eli as the reason for the team losing.

It is hard to say. They all had their own innuendoes. McAdoo was a numb scull when it came to expression. One of the job parameters is to be a good communicator.
Shurmur had the attitude football was Offense and nothing else. He seemed to be hands off with the other 2 aspects of the game. If had Graham not Bettcher. He would he won more games.
Judge understood the game very well. (theory) That is the way he coached. Here is the problem with that. Theory can be conceived as linear (A to B...B to C...C to D.......) That is a closed system mentality. It should be working why isn't it?. Football is not linear or static in any way. There lies the problem he had. He envisioned it doing this. In reality it did that. He had no practical experience to understand how to change that outcome.
That is my opinion on the 3 of them.

Joe Judge, running away with it.
I think partly due to the amnesia factor of the last 2 HCs. No way to sugar coat it though, Judge was a disaster.

Under Shurmer Jones looked somewhat competent
Under McAdoo we went to the playoff
Under Judge we bitched about the Eagles quitting and called the Redskins a clown show

Joe Judge gave Debbie does Dallas a run for her money as to who sucks more. McAdoo and Shurmur were no better. Thankfully, the Giants got their collective heads out of their asses, and came to the realization that Judge was not the answer.
As to the fans who said Judge got a bum rap. Spare me, ask Pat Shurmur who had nobodies on his roster what he thinks about that. You know what youāre getting involved in when you took the job of a rebuilding and floundering franchise. His job was to bring back accountability, and stability within the team. He did not, so he was shown the door.

They all sucked, and overall, Judge was probably the worst. However, breaking Eli's Ironman streak by benching him for Geno Smith is the most unforgivable decision that any of the coaches had ever made. For that reason, my vote goes to Ben Mcadoo.

As bad as that was, not sure if it beats Judges decision to pull the victory formation on our own goal line on 2nd and 3rd downs this past week. And I was one of the Eli supporters!!
