There should be a hard, fast rule for the Giants (and maybe the rest of the NFL) - No more coaches, front office personal, scouts, or anyone that has been anywhere in the Belichek operations in New England…..all of them turn out to be disasters…..all of them are cocky, belligerent morons that think they deserve full control…..and all of them fail miserably.

Brian Flores is the only one that seems competent. Don’t be fooled by his firing, the owner down there is a colossal moron. Other than him, I want no one from that organization. There is a reason they all run back home within two years. They’re like kids who leave their parents house, and come back home when the electric bill hasn’t been paid in months.

McDaniels name is coming up again, which worries me. The guy has two debacles in his past - Broncos and Colts.
Hard pass

Patricia was same way in Detroit, as another example

Maybe those coaches should be more selective than joining dysfunctional teams like the Giants and Lions. O’Brien made the most out of a Texas team, Flores went on a nice winning steak and Mangini basically built the Jets that Ryan took over. Took over until his drafts caught up to him. As far as full control. Please, this Gettleman clown didn’t listen to anybody and screwed this roster up pre-Judge

It is hysterical to me that JM thought that BB really wanted to help the Giants in their search for a new HC.
He simply got rid of a mid level ST coordinator, probably replaced him with someone better and rolled a trojan horse into the stadium of a team that's beaten him twice in the SB.
JM plays checkers and BB plays 3D chess.
BB is our freaking competitor. He is not our friend or confidant.
How could our ceo be so naive and fall for such bullshit?

I think it just proves Bill could have anyone be a successful assistant there. He is the Patriots, he is 100% the reason for their success.

I think it just proves Bill could have anyone be a successful assistant there. He is the Patriots, he is 100% the reason for their success. Most likely. But the possibility of the genes, the upbringing, what they discussed at dinner, the notion they had to actually perform to squash any rumors of nepotism... all still intriguing to me.

Detroit, the Jets, Cleveland & Cincy are usually pretty horrendous. The Giants are now one of them. They replaced Cincy. Miami? Imo that coach did ok.

Don't be fooled by Brian Flores either, he started off the season 1-7, losing 7 straight before the Dolphins 7-1 late season surge. Let's just stay away from the Belichick tree completely.

I don't mind that in general for newbies but at this point I don't consider Flores in that light. Hes coached in the NFL and had some success in turning around an awful roster in Miami.

Do Ossenfort and Vrabel count as being belichekian? Those are the only other two I could think of with success.

I mean, alienated from a bad owner and a GM I know nothing about. Who knows who was really at fault there. Just because Ross and the GM are on the same page doesn't mean its the right page.
