I have to say, I don’t really get the fascination with McDaniel. Never a coordinator and didn’t call plays. Seems like he got on the radar with his quirky press conferences. For all I know, he’ll be the next Vince Lombardi, but I’m not seeing it right now. He was the OC for the 49ers. Shanahan calls the plays. Mc Daniels did game planning and play designs. Shanahsn will never give up game calling plays.

Lovie Smith to the Texans ... Remember when Nick Casserio was the hot GM candidate? Maybe he'll turn it around, but he is looking pretty bad right now ....

Oh that's BS we don't get any picks from the Raiders signing away Patrick Graham because that's considered a lateral move, but the 49ers get two 3rd round picks due to Mike McDaniel identifying as biracial.

Does this guy look like a minority coach?

Does this guy look like a minority coach? What do you mean self identifies? Are you saying he isnt mixed race at all? I honestly dont know. I guess he can identify as the first female HC in NFL history too if thats the case. Really go bold with it.

Don't know he could very well be mixed, but most reporter I've seen are saying that *he identifies* as multiracial and therefore the 49ers will get two 3rd round picks. I'm just a bit annoyed that we ended up not getting anything when we lost Patrick Graham, that's all.

Did any of these guys do actual homework on this subject? Or do they just all nod their head ignorantly...

It creates kind of a cringe factor for the coach. Not to mention, in this case, he is half black. What is the line for this? If his grandpa was black, does that count? Would the NFL label him a minority then? I identify as a human being and my dad is Black; it’s weird that it comes upWhen do we get a "Liz Warren" situation that pops up? “It’s been very odd, to tell you the truth, this idea of ‘identifying’ as something,” McDaniel said when asked about it today. “I think people identify me as something, but I identity as a human being and my dad is Black. So whatever you want to call it, I know there’s a lot of people with a shared experience. It’s weird that it comes up because I’ve just tried to be a good person. And I think my background opens my eyes a little bit. I don’t have any real experience with racism because I think you identify me as something close to — I don’t know. I know my mom experienced it when she married my dad. I know my dad experienced it, that’s in my family. But I guess that makes me a human being that can identify with other people’s problems.”

And Dennis Allen to the Saints HC position for the final move. Bieniemy used again. Lol they need to stop interviewing him. He obviously isn’t HC material and either interviews horribly or just isn’t qualified. Never mind Flores, Bienemy is the case study for everything that’s wrong about the stupid Rooney rule.

So is it Bienemy or Spags that gets promoted when Reid hangs it up? He's not looking well.
