Not saying that either was a bad trade, but perhaps the greatest celebrations for the FO trading players was for the Apple and Odell trades.

Apple couldn’t cover his own shadow. However, he did make a crucial tackle to end the half. As for Beckham, I guess it was premature to judge his sole playoff game five years ago. So far, he’s been playing very well this postseason. And I’m talking to the over the hill, grumps who yell at the leaves on their lawns.
As for the trades, Apple had to go. His umbilical cord was getting in the way on the field. And Beckham gave the Giants no other choice.

Odell will wreck him. At least 2 major PIs for Apple grabbing him, and at least 5 plays where he is behind chasing Odell.
OBJ and Apple both needed new scenery.
I have nothing bad to say about BJ Hill though. Or Donte Deayon.

I would say the Giants were right in their actions considering both players are on their 3/4teams.It's a shame that either one is allowed to play in the super bowl after acting like petulant little children till they got their way. We all knew Odell had talent I don't think that was ever in dispute but his attitude as portrayed in his interview made it a no brainer that he had to go. Apple blatantly quitting, his play in that Rams game and then his bad play with the Saints should have kept him from ever being on another team again. I do like Stafford and am happy for him as I am for Barrow ,it should be a good game.

Given that Odell whined his way out of Cleveland based on QB play, I am certain he would have done it with Jones as a QB. Apple had to go, agreed.

No one can succeed in that City, Mayfield was the toast of the town. Now, he’s a bum. Beckham is exactly where he always wanted to be. In Los Angeles with the other Hollyweirdos. Who’s laughing now? He’s in the super bowl, while we’re on our third rebuild.

I would like to see them get into a fight and both be ejected.

I think obj is gonna have a monster game. He looked focused, controlled and excited on the sideline. The bengals are gonna have to throw everything at Kupp. I’m happy for him to be honest.
Apple on the other hand can kick rocks

Just to spite Apple, I hope OBJ eats Apple's lunch that his mother packed him.

I'm rooting for Apple...Odell is a phony....at least Apple will tell you where he stands instead of stab you in the back.

As soon as someone says the words "boat trip", that tells me all that I need to about that fan. Some fan on here even called Beckham a "phony". Did Beckham **** that guy's significant other or something? Some of these fans (a very loud minority of them) just cannot move on and will take their lame ass grudges to their graves with them. These same fans screamed loud as hell about culture changes. I hope that they're happy with what they asked for. The guy is about to play in the Super Bowl and we're busy rebuilding failed rebuilds of previously failed rebuilds.

I couldn't be happier for OBJ and for that matter B.J. Hill or Deayon as well. I don't remember Deayon though. Apple I do not wish any success to. He very well might get a SB ring though.
I love Joe Burrow and this Jamar Chase I enjoy watching so much just like I did OBJ when he first came into the league with us.
There are a lot of feel good stories here with players from both teams.

At the time, I felt both players had to go. Odell probably forced his way out of NY with that silly Lil Wayne interview, and some of his antics.
People mature and change. I don't think anyone can question his desire to win and his competitiveness. He wants to win and he obviously wants to contribute. I'm actually happy for him, and wish he could have been here when this team turns around, but it wasn't meant to be.
I hope he torches Apple in the SB if he covers him.

Fans would be on Homer Jones ass for spiking the ball.
