Lateral move? Or increased responsibility? Tell me... will he get more recognition and accolades (especially from the media) making the Bills Oline better (Pff ranked them 17 in 2021) or the NY Giants line better (ranked 30)? Lateral move? Maybe More responsibility? Maybe Great Career Opportunity? Definitely.

The Giants are just raiding the Bills' organization and I have no problem with it if leads to positive results.

As a well liked/respected Coach of 21 yrs in the NFL, Daboll is bringing some of who HE brought to Buffalo. This is very common in every coaching change scenario. The one big fish we didn't get was Dorsey, who got the OC gig in Buffalo because Josh Allen told management thats who he wanted. Anyway, Tierney worked closely with Daboll, Dorsey, and Allen(and believe it or not, Davis Webb who Buffalo is grooming as a coach) and Tierney is considered a rising star in coaching ranks. The O line coach that came over is very highly regarded as well. It will be very interesting to see who NYG hires as OC.

I just find it funny how the Giants are raiding the Bills' organization starting with Schoen and working down. But I'm all for the influx of new blood.

daboll and schoen im sure have long thought on how theyd set up a team given the chance. they got the chance, and theyre loading up on all the folks theyve probably long had in mind to bring in. thats a good thing i would think. we're gonna have a staff working with some cohesiveness.

Josh Allen made that Line look better than what it really was but other than Daryl Williams, not all that familiar with anybody on that Line so I guess he did a good job working with them LT Dion Dawkins is 1 of the premier LT's in the league

exactly, not as pieced together mess from leftover regimes and old philosophies Or Mara Inserts the Giants owners knew they had to go outside the box on this one because what they were doing absolutely showed them to be the problem...

I dont know who this guy is but we should also bring Shawn OHara in because I really think he can help. I don't know if its such a good idea to bring in a person just because his name is known but has little coaching or player developing experience, we're at the point where we need all the "experienced" coaching help we can get..

It will be most exciting to see what Schoen (and Daboll) does with the roster (cap management, draft). Of course it has to translate to wins but to see the fresh approach to the roster will be welcomed. Sadly I fear that the personnel department is still littered with old regime folks due to ties to ownership and that is not encouraging for this offseason specifcally.

I 100% agree with you about bringing guys in for their name but that was not why I wanted him. I listened to him break down our offensive line issues and play calling. Turns out he would do a lot of that in linemen only meetings as a Giant. He spoke about his shock that we do not have any hot reads off blitzes. He said his line used to love other teams to blitz because he knew they were prepared for it with their schemes and play calling. Listen to a podcast I posted weeks ago. Shawn was very impressive. I want his voice but as our main Oline coach I would really like Mike Munchak.

I don’t care if he’s Ronald McDonald, I heard so much f’in hype about how Sale was going to fix the O line, maximize Peart and Hernandez’s potential, blah blah blah. I couldn’t care less about name recognition, all I care about is results so I’ll just have to wait and see.

I don’t care if he’s Ronald McDonald, I heard so rich f’in hype about how Sale was going to fix the O pine, maximize Peart and Hernandez’s potential, blah blah blah. I couldn’t care less about name recognition, all I care about is results so I’ll just have to wait and see. I guess Sale was paid handsomely to come to the conclusion our 3rd round pick was soft and "didn't want it bad enough". Huge scouting FAIL.

Terrible fail and typical of what we've endured now for a decade. Unfortunately this is something you don't find out until the kid is on the team for a year or 2... they realize they can't get by on what got them noticed in college and then don't have the inner strength and work ethic to get better...
