I have no idea how good he is. But apparently Dabol has confidence in him. So if were going with Dabol these are the people he knows and wants with him in the biggest job of his life.
Soooo if he wants him don't we ?

Ok, who’s going to be the first to pretend to know who this guy is? Reading his bio, he’s used to working with a constant state of flux at the offensive line position. Well, he’s in for a doozy.. we have been a mess for a decade.

How has he been with developing young players/rookies? They were saying he did a great job shuffling their line through bunch of them getting Covid, think he installed a rookie guard who stuck and started the rest of the year, been digging not finding much just they have been good. Also he has coached a rebuilt unit their they have some young guys on that line I believe.

I know he scored a TD in the divisional round against San Francisco that led to our first Lombardi.

At least we know that he is competent unlike our previous GM and some coaches.

Josh Allen made that Line look better than what it really was but other than Daryl Williams, not all that familiar with anybody on that Line so I guess he did a good job working with them

It must be late January, because we're hiring an offensive line coach.

His contract was up. So the Bills didn't technically let him leave.

His contract was up. So the Bills didn't technically let him leave. That makes sense. Does the same apply for Dorsey? Is his contract up as well? Otherwise, if the Bills promote him to their OC I don't think the Giants can hire him in a lateral move either, unless they slap on an assistant HC title much like they did with Graham.

Between all the GM, HC, and other coaching candidates, as well as the players in this years draft that we've been exposed to this past few weeks, I realize I dont really know diddly about football. who are all these people? lol

Some digging around Buffalo fan sites Not happy about run game being erratic, but at the same time because of covid and injuries they rarely if ever started the same 5 guys ...
He did get who he had playing as a functional unit

Dorsey is still under contract. I can't find a scenario in my head where Dorsey would pass up a Bills promotion to OC to come here to be OC. Unless he's just super loyal to Daboll and wants to be an OC under him rather than McDerm. I think the Bills could block it regardless like the Vikes did with Stefanski a couple years ago to come here and then didn't even give him the OC job. But, I'm not sure the Bills would operate like that. So, outside of Dorsey not being offered the Bills OC job, I can 't see him here. Would love to be surprised though.

The fact Allen wants Dorsey is big. Can't see the Bills not going that way. Evidently Daboll is a hoot to coach with if Dorsey would rather be here and the Bills grant his wish.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. If Dorsey is offered the OC position in BUF, I don't see why (Outside of NYG offering much more money) he would choose to pass up being the OC for that BUF offense to come here, and I don't see why BUF would allow him to leave on a lateral move.

Lateral move? Or increased responsibility? On this team, it's one of the most important coaching roles to fill, so it's a massive responsibility.
