Madden showing how awesome he is. How can it be a penalty if the thing he's reacting to didn't happen? Can you imagine that happening today with all the davenport psychologists in the media unraveling it for us? Oy

Taylor was all go, no show. He had the pedal to the floor every game, for thirteen years. Best player to play, regardless of the position.

Everything on LT I watch. It just brings back great memories for me. He was so intense coupled with great talent. Wish he could have played forever, we were blessed to have him in the first place. And I thank him for playing as long as he did.

I don't remember LT's behavior being a factor for much of his career. I remember a hold out, a failed drug test or two later, and then his stupid book where he admitted using another player's urine to pass drug testing. His play was just so dynamic it overshadowed the personal issues and of course he made everyone else around him better so even if he wasn't having a great game, our defense was still great.

I had almost no knowledge of LT's bad behavior until after his playing days were over, while he played he was a joy to watch...

there was a heck of a snowstorm nationwide and ny was no exception. Taylor was one on many including countless celebrities, wall street and of course, the gift which keeps on giving, the 1986 Ny Mets. The party hit a dynasty NHL team hard in the Pacific Northwest and their Captain joined the Rangers years later where the party continued. Reports surface Brian Leetch suffered a fractured ankle by falling out of a Taxi cab. Yeah, right.

I do remember the 4 game suspension. Boy what a break that was we were all afraid he was going for the season. That might have been his 2nd suspension I don't remember. But we didn't know as much then about what was going on. I also don't really remember it being so up front. His play over shadowed everything else. Parcells always telling the press "let me worry about Lawrence".

lol, the 80’s were nuts. The 80's were definitely nuts. I owned a bar in Queens in those days I'm lucky I lived through that decade. And I was wounded in Viet Nam in the 60's. Actually both those decades anybody who lived through them should get a medal. lol
