The Barkley v. Henry match-up will be fun to watch.
Hope the Bills dominance over the Rams is a harbinger of the Giants v. Titans game.
Wish both Thibs and Olujari are on the field.

I think Barkely is going to have a tougher task against the Titans defensive front, The Titans OL can opens defenses saw some of the inside the film room with Banks and saw Daboll also break it down. Henry is a great back but he also has a good run blocking OL in front of him after they get him to the second level he makes teams pay. kind of a Brandon Jacobs light not quite the 265 pound monster Jacobs was.

It's been a long time, and a properly functioning offense can really help the defense out a lot, as we've seen the opposite lately. We'll start to get an idea on Sunday, I can't wait!!

I still have concern because Saquon went off for 2000 combined and 12 TDs as a rookie and in year 2 went off for 1400 combined and 7 TDs and we still sucked. Hopefully as you said the passing game can make it happen need to be multi dimensional these days.

I worry about the LG and Center caving way too often for the NYGs. The Titans front is still a big threat and Thomas will have his hands full with Dupree. I really cant see any part of the NYGs game, on O or D, dominating. Thats not to say they cant win and play a solid game overall.

It would definitely be refreshing to see some 3rd and shorts and heck even more picking up first downs on 2nd downs and such

So establishing a passing game is just as if not more important these days. Tennessee could see some major issues not having Brown this year because teams could not stack the box to stop Henry.... a rookie that had a bit of issues getting started who doesn't get the separation Brown did and a 30 YO coming off an ACL TBH doesn't concern me as much as Henry..

No doubt that Henry is the key when he is in the game. He is an unreal RB and football player in general. A saw a few interviews he also seems like a genuinely good dude too.

The Titans are in the discussion for 1st seed in the AFC. For a reason. Sure they could come out of the gate really slow and disappointing, and we could massively exceed expectations. But realistically there’s a reason they’ve won 23 in the last 2 years and we’ve won 10. The answer isn’t coaching, the offensive system and a RT. Im expecting to see us get overpowered. The Rams didn’t play bad last night, they were over powered. That’s frankly what I’m realistically hoping for. I can’t see us winning, I don’t want to see fumbles missed tackles dropped balls and guys lost in their assignments.

His inability to pick up the blitz and actually stop the player drops him down a few pegs when it comes to best back in the league.. I also feel his vision is lacking but don't let this stop you from crowning him..

Buffalo looked good the Rams looked sloppy. We are going to lose a bunch of games this year we all know it but I want to look prepared , I don't want to look sloppy. IMO the secret to stopping Henry is "gang tackling" ...everyone to the ball carrier. We need to remember this is a new defense to the fan base and they're going to be blitzing (which I like) but as they say if you live by it you can die from it. I think our Offense match's well with their Defense. I could see a win if we can keep it close and control the clock. Yes it's a big IF.

Especially giving the ball away. I see Jones being harassed all day by Simmons, Autry, Dupree etc. Will be a relatively low scoring game. NYGs lucky to get 23 points IMO. That will be more than their average last season but not enough.

Simons is gonna be a huge problem, he is who Arron Donald was in his prime there is no one on one blocker on our interior that can handle him alone not manny in the league can, Thats why this is much more then Henry verses Barkely, The Titans OL can run block they can open DLs and LBs and our DL is formidable but our LBs are not terrible but also nothing to fear on the interior. in the end hate to say we are out gunned by teams that are top 2 type seeds in the payoffs.

Smart coaches would be using him right not waisting him.

That will be more than their average last season but not enough. That’s the whole thing. I’m not measuring this game by the score. How do we look? Did we run the ball reasonably well? Did we move the ball well? Did we limit Henry and Tannenhill from their typical performance. Did we score more in the red zone that we did last year? Did we make the Titans execute to win or did we hand it to them? There’s gonna be a bunch of old school reaction on here. “All that matter is did we win or lose”? That’s a relevant discussion for a decent team trying to take the next step. We’re not a decent team yet. That requires a lens of evaluation that doesn’t come out a Nike commercial.
