Judge had a good show too but after all the losses is like....who gives a rats ass.

Should make fans realize the players aren’t executing or aren’t talented enough to execute. A failed routine block, tackle, etc is the foundation for everything else that happens. It’s the very reason Coughlin was dismissed while the latest HC casualty was killed b/c Fromm couldn’t play and well before the kneel down. In a league of parity with temporary +/- swings across the league it’s the Giants have been well below the parity line b/c they haven’t had the talent to execute.

Especially with different positions like QB and LT. For me development there is huge and can make all the difference in the world for a young player. You think if Jones turns a corner this season and plays really well all season that Daboll and his staff dont have much to do with that?

But sure, if Jones plays well enough to deserve an extension i’ll praise Daboll. I won’t kill him though if Jones doesn’t work out though.

You mean to say that if they decide to trade him or not renew his contract, you won't have a nuclear meltdown? others will not only meltdown but go completely apeshit (much to my delight). I didn't realize QBs had so many friends and relatives on message boards. It may be as much fun as Game Day threads

In a league of parity with temporary +/- swings across the league it’s the Giants have been well below the parity line b/c they haven’t had the talent to execute. Agree with this. Unfortunately I’m a Giants fan so I have to look at different ways to lose, not just win vs lose Last year receiving targets weren’t getting open, RBs were getting hit behind the LOS as often as not, and it seemed key players couldn’t contribute or stay on the field. I mentioned in another thread the Rams didn’t suck last night, they were over powered. I’m hoping I see the same thing if we lose. Not missed tackles dropped balls guys that are totally lost in coverage, OL looking clueless, WRs who aren’t open. There’s ways to lose, even by a big margin, that shows improvement, and there’s ways to lose that makes it look like nothing’s changed. An anonymous NFL executive said it about the Giants: “they’ll be much better coached this year, but realistically how many more wins is that with this roster?” For some Giants fans the answer is 8-10. Those fans are going to be apocalyptic on Sunday at 5pm.

Today the Giants have Williams and Lawrence while KT and AO can help pressure but there is no depth. LDE is still a question mark while the depth behind Williams and Lawrence isn’t there. It’s a 17 game season!!

At least Lawrence appears to be in his natural gap. I recall the debates last season who felt he is a DE 🙄 and challenged he didn’t play NT/1 at Clemson 🙄🙄. The guy is pushing 350lbs. Guys at that size run of gas fast if asked to run and pursue

Couple years ago we had what felt like a team that was hard to run against. Last year for sure it looked like we gave up ground yards pretty easy. Henry has beat up Wink defenses for few years now but I think that’s more of a Henry thing than Wink shortcoming.

Running, catching, passing, lining up at QB etc. +5 yard average +3.5 yards after first contact. 100 ypg average Dude is one of the best football payers in the league.
