Titans should win. The Giants fan in me says many of the "ifs" that surround the team have to transition to real and actual positives for them to win. It can happen but it probably won't. If many of those "ifs" remain "ifs" then they lose by 14.
With that said I can't wait for Sunday at 4:25 ET

You that the Giants offensive line is "bad," the QB is "dicey," and you think the wide receiver corp is not good. Hopefully, you'll see on Sunday how wrong you are.

no matter what I think, I will never poll against the Giants for game 1 of any given season.

LTGOAT:
Last season some of the Giants offensive lineman retired and others got hurt. I do think DG made some good trades that provided Jones with protection.
Jones had a good completion rate and rating at home. As in games played he was 22-37, 22-32,24-35, 28-40, 16-25, 29-51, 16-25, 22-32, 15-20, 23-38-, and 19-30. He did so playing a bad system till he had a season ending injury.
But don't understand why you say that this season the offensive line is bad, Jones is dicey, and receiving corp is not good?

Lets hope in game 4 and again in game 8 we can say the same thing they all are healthy and on the field. That would give them a chance to learn the offense and get the timing and options down.

I choose them every week in my pick'em pool (off course that's a $5 one, so its 99.999% for fun) unless they totally shit the bed like the end of last season. Takes a 2 kneel-down game for me to get there though...

Have to love Game Time. In almost every post he takes with one hand and giveth with the other. Don't change. its called being apprehensive or skeptical of what the Giants can do and/or will do. the Giants have been a shit team for ten years, they haven't played nay reg seasons games, new HC and GM and staff. Huge roster turnover. We all want them to do well of course but know one can say definitely what will happen. Most feel Daboll and Schoen are good to go as well as the staff they have out together. But the real tests start tomorrow. You use the words like "hopefully", "if they do this", "maybe" if the draft pics or FAs work. All those types of statements "giveth and taketh" as well miggs. You are just less skeptical than I am and thats pretty much sums it up.

I see a clear demarcation line from the past 10 years. I feel the product the Giants will put on the field tomorrow will work welltomorrow regardless of whether the Giants win or lose the game. I believe you wrote something to the effect that the Giants will likely win 6 or 7 games, but you hope they'll win 9 games. Better to pick number of games you think the Giants will win and leave it at that. Of course, everyone hopes the Giants will win more games than we predict.

Is it going to rain? If so we need to sell out to stop Henry. Actually we probably need to do that anyway

Ha, I always select the Giants in my Yahoo "pick 'em" pool, which is why I typically finish halfway down the list of participants.
Tomorrow, I select, the Giants!

I will never choose the opponent in any pole or bet when it come to the Giants thats why I never bet on them unless they are a contender. For many years I never bet on anything to do with NYG, not even friendly bets with buddies of rival teams. In the boredom era we have endured recently I slipped up on that--things only got worse. I'm back to not touching anything to do with NYG.
