ALL-TIME SERIES
The Giants and Titans/Oilers have split the 12 games they've played.
INJURIES
Giants
Questionable: S Dane Belton (Clavicle)
Doubtful: OLB Azeez Ojulari (Calf), OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux (Knee)
Titans
Questionable: OLB Ola Adeniyi (Neck)
Out: DB Lonnie Johnson (Groin), DB Elijah Molden (Groin), LB Chance Campbell (Knee), OL Jamarco Jones (Triceps)
LINE
Giants + 5.5
This will be a great test for our team against a very good Titans team. Too bad we won't have our two top pass rushers healthy to start the season. On the other hand it's nice Kadarius' name is not on the injury list.

Excited for the game and I wont say Thibs is one of the top pass rushers on the team since we dont even know that yet. He's supposed to be eventually.
Hope the NYGs can get some health on their side this season

Titans 31 Giants 13
I'm loaded with optimism week 1 this year fellas. 1 TD and 2 field goals. Wait, is Gano cleared yet? Maybe make it one if not.
I'll believe we are a better team when I see it.
Regardless, go Giants. I'll be pulling for an upset.

You're right but that is the expectation as we took him @ 5 and he's penciled in as our #1 Edge rusher.

Giants players don't practice on Thursday or Saturday before Sunday's game. That tells me the coaches and players have done their preparation and homework and are prepared to win.
Wink expressed his confidence in all his defenders including Crowder and Robinson. He's pleased with the depth of the Giants defense.,
Do hope that Thibs and Olujari play. Daboll said if either they can do whatls required of them without pads before game, they will play.
Regardless, the Titans are also missing some defenders.
All in all, although the Titan HC is a good one, Giants coaches are even better. Most importantly, the Giants offensive and defense are better, and I'm confident the Giants players will execute the schemes better than the Titan players will.
The Giants will exceed your expectations on Sunday.
Final score: Giants 31, Titans 24. I'm being generous to the Titans.

The Giants are 6th in Dead cap The Titans are 21st in Dead cap
The Giants are 27th in Active Contracts spending 146,952,143 on the team (71.1% of their cap) The Titans are 10th in Active Contracts spending 177,689,265 on the Team. (84.6% of their cap) 30.7-million-dollar advantage for the Titans. 38.3% advantage for total spending for a favorable outcome 7.6 good players better than the Giants or 15.2 serviceable players better than the Giants.
The Giants are 18th in Offensive spending $90,952,359 (43% of the cap) The Titians are 5th in Offensive spending $104,041,980 (50% of the cap) 13-million-dollar advantage for the Titans 3.3 good players advantage or 6.6 serviceable players better. than the Giants.
The Titans have a 16.25% Probability advantage in offensive favorable outcome.
The Giants are 31st in Defensive Spending $61,068,599 (28% of the cap) The Titans are 24th in Defensive Spending $76,671,256 (37% of the cap) 15.6-million-dollar advantage for the Titans 3.9 good players advantage or 7.8 serviceable players better. than the Giants.
The Titans have a 19.5% Probability advantage in defensive favorable outcome.
The Titans have a 17.9% offense / Defense average probability advantage for a favorable outcome according to cap sending.
Methodology for spending outcome probability: For every 4-million-dollar amount over a team has. It equates to one good player for 4 MM a year or 2 serviceable players a 2MM a year.
I placed a 2.5% advantage weight for every 4 million over an opponent. I placed a 2.5% disadvantage weight for every 4 million under an opponent. A total of 5% advantage weight for every 4 million.
Now my opinion. Giants win 24-21.

Giants players don't practice on Thursday or Saturday before Sunday's game. That tells me the coaches and players have done their preparation and homework and are prepared to win. not the reasons they didnt practice Thursday or Saturday. Guess you just made that up? Saturday is a travel day and I think they didnt practice Thursday because they practiced Tuesday which is usually an off day. The off days changed because of the Holiday extended weekend he gave the team

65 to 70% chance of rain in Nashville tomorrow along with thunder storms. Potential to have delays if lighting becomes an issue.

They always have a day off during the week. This week it was Thursday. I guess he'd make them practice on Saturday too? Before or after they travel to Nashville?

The Titans are 12-5 at home over the last two seasons. Let’s make it 12-6, and push those music city sissies back to the silent era.

The Giants have lost several opening season games in a row
Instinct, wishful thinking or both tell me this Giants team is going to be better coming out of the gate for tomorrow's game
Really looking forward the seeing this OL perform and having a balanced attack of DJ throwing and SB running. Plus, see how the other rookies contribute tomorrow as well. I think Wink will have the D ready tomorrow, containing Henry and the secondary stepping up... heck, even get a pick tomorrow.
The team is due for a season opening win!

I like the optimism. If we can block and our wr get open we will win. So we don’t have to worry about stopping the run or our secondary get burned left and right? Interesting. You can worry about everything but if we block and our WR get open we can play with the lead limiting their run.
